I've got a TouchSmart 610-1280qd desktop. It was working fine until 1 week ago when my home had a power outage. Now, it won't even boot up. No power, nothing. Even the power brick light is out. I bought a replacement power brick and when I plug it in, the green led light on the new brick(the old is blue) immediately goes out and there's still no power. The power button effects no response, nor does any button on the keyboard have any effect. There's just no power to the entire computer. I've tried plugging both the old and new power bricks in and initially, the blue and green lights on each respectively go on, until I plug them into the desktop. Then the lights go out and still no power and no response by pressing the power button or any button on the keyboard. I've also tried plugging in the old and new power bricks without the surge protector. The power bricks lights go on, but as soon as I plug them in, still no power. I've tried different outlets around my house and the power bricks lights go on, but as soon as I plug them into the desktop, no power. I've tried plugging he power bricks into the desktop first, then the outlets, and no power at all either in the desktop. There is no response at any stage where i've pressed the keyboards buttons. The desktop just doesn't have any power at all. Anyone have a problem with this? I really hope it isn't what I think it is and the motherboard is out.

I shut down my desktop earlier this morning with the normal power off process. When I went to turn it back on this evening all I get is a set of 5 beep with a yellow light blinking above the power switch. This repeats five times then the beeping stops and only the yellow flashing continues. I can hear and feel the hard drive running. I've tried disconnecting the power and then plugging it back in but the same thing happens. If I push and hold in on the power button in, it sounds as if the hard drive stops and restarts. The normal blue light comes on for a few seconds then goes out and is replaced by the blinking yellow light. Anybody got any clue as to what the issue may be?More replies

Touchsmart 610-1280qd (about 2 months new) with Windows 7 - 64 Home) Worked great coming out of sleep mode until the past 2 days. This only happens when computer has been in sleep mode over night. In the morning it has completely lost power. I have tried to move mouse, click mouse, click keyboard, push on/off button, unplug and replug from back of computer, there is just no power. I have a USB drive plugged into computer and its light is off.The only way to restart system is to unplug at the power source and replug it in. Then system will work. Any help? Could it be the power cord with the big box on it?
Sounds like quite an interesting issue. I was just wondering: if you put the computer in Hibernate over night, does it do the same thing? Not sure where that would take us, but using hibernate might be a workaournd. Here is a document about resolving porobelms with sleep and hibernate modes. The issue your computer has is not specified, but the steps might help. Best of luck, hope you're able to find some help here, GeorgeFN9 more replies

My all in one, has a power button on the top of the display. After about 4 years, it's getting damaged. Typically, my computer goes into sleep mode, and I have to hit the button to wake it up. Today, I went to do that and the computer wouldn't turn on again. And the button stayed down. Argh.... Finally, I took a screwdriver to it, and it came up enough so I could turn the computer on. Now, I'm keeping it fully on at all times. But, eventually this will have to be fixed. I no longer have a warranty on this computer. I was told to have an authorized service provider fix it. But, I don't want them to take the computer. And how would they fix this button anyway? Do you order the button and install it in the screen? Or do I have to bite the bullet and get a new computer? Thx.More replies
Hi all, While trying to on my computer at night yesterday, it was in the midst of booting up when it triggered a power trip in my house instead. After that, I couldn't turn on my computer. No problem whatsoever with power source and charger cable. However, I realized that my transformer box no longer have the light on when plugged in. May I know if finding a replacement for the transformer will help with powering my computer? And would this power trip have damaged my computer (Motherboard, hard disk?) If I could just purchase a new transformer, may I know where do I get it and approximately how much would it cost? I'm a student living in Singapore. Sorry, obviously not good with technology here, but would appreciate any help I receive! Thank you.More replies

I have an HP Envy TouchSmart 20 AiO PC, and ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, I get the "POWER STATE FAILURE" blue screen every time I try to wake it from "Sleep Mode" and it will take forever to restart after a hard reboot. I have managed this problem by changing my settings so my computer never goes into sleepmode (but turning off the screen). Obviously, this is not ideal. I have been told this would fix itself automatically via Windows Update, but it has not. Please advise. Thanks!

My question: Is the TouchSmart tm2 compatible with WIN 10 and what must be accomplished to achieve a successful install? First, a slignt rant.I was successfuly running WIN 10 on my TouchSmart tm2 when I updated a video driver and afterwards could only get a blank screen. Yes, my bad! I paid HP $99 for incident support and their only suggestion was to do a full system recovery & reinstall WIN 7 Pro. Really? You made me pay for that? Since I didn't have the OS disks (it was OEM) I had to pay HP $25 for the media and $15 FOR SECOND DAY DELIVERY ONLY TO HAVE THE MEDIA ARRIVE ON DAY 3. I can't reach anyone at HP to refund the delivery failure. Now support is stating that my computer isn't compatible with WIN 10. If I was successfully running WIN 10, why is it now un compatable?

Hello, i have a HP TouchSmart computer that i need to reformat badly. I am wondering if reformatting it with any regular vista CD key will lose such features as the touchscreen, wireless mouse & keyboard, built in webcam.
The Original owner of the computer claims it came with its own Vista CD key that he lost.
If the HP restore partition is in good condition (not damaged or malware-ridden), you can perform a re-write of the factory-original hard-disk-image by tapping the F11 as your HP is first powered on, then following the prompts as shown (step-by-step, with screenshots) in the following instructions at the HP support website --- http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...=3752240#N1066
Note that you'd first want to move any data that you wish to save off to removable or external media before you run a return to factory original.
Once the factory-original image is restored, you'll have to visit Windows Update to get the Security Updates since the TouchSmart was shipped. You'll want to update the Security software as well (if you need a free alternative, I think "avast! antivirus" is a good choice).
Once the PC is updated and fully protected against malware, you can then create a recovery disk set onto DVDs following the instructions from this HP support webpage --- http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...name=c00882383
Having made your own Recovery DVD set allows you the freedom of running the recovery onto a new, blank drive - should you need or wish to upgrade to a new hard drive in the future.
You can, of course, also order Recovery DVDs directly from HP for most models. The price is considerably less than purchasing a Windows license retail. Much less.
Best of luck

I have just bought one of these damaged. The screen is smashed, there is no HDD, RAM, Battery and Power Supply. It also has bad damage to one corner (been dropped from a huge height by the looks) thus damaging lid, palm rest and base. I know RAM and P/S are not a great cost issue but I'm not sure if it is worth buying a new screen and hdd for it. I paid ?42.00 for laptop as it was part of a job lot, and I see they retail at around ?500-?600. Should I fix it up to sell or keep, or just sell it as it is to see if I can make a slight profit?
Forgot, obviously, not been able to check MOBO on it either yet, no spares to check it.6 more replies
Hi, I just recently got an Envy All-in-One Touchsmart; it is a super machine and so far, so good. The 10-point touch is really cool, but there are many instances when I would like to be able to use a pen in order to be more precise in my pointing or to "mark up" a document. I know Microsoft Office has the "inking" feature because I use it on my Laptop with a "pen" while I am traveling and have found it invaluable -- and, by the way this laptop is both touch and pen enabled. I tried to enable "pen" by going to the Control Panel feature that is says says Pen and Touch, but when you do so, it is only for Touch. How can I make it so that it both touch and pen enabled? If that is all possible, what type of "pen" do I need? Thank you very much
Hi AIResnick, A stylus used on a capacitive touch screen basically just takes the place of your finger, so enabling touch on the computer will enable pen input as well. But it can't just be any pen or stylus, the material at the tip has to be something that will register as touch on the screen, and not scratch it. I read your other post and I understand you're looking for a finer-tipped stylus, rather than the ubiquitous blunt-ended, eraser-type stylus pens. That limits your options quite a bit, because I believe the larger surface area is part of what makes those pens work on capacitive screens. (Other types of touch screens can use other styles of stylus, including pointy-tipped ones in some cases.) I've heard good things about the Jot Pro from Adonit. I haven't tried it, so I can't speak from experience. The design seems clever--it looks like they attached a clear, flat disc to the tip of a metal pen, so you can see precisely where you're writing with the point of the pen, but the clear disc provides enough surface area for the touch to register, and prevents damage to your screen from the sharp pen point. I hope that helps.4 more replies

I have been dealing with a broken home on my laptop for more than a year. I just searched these forums and found ~70 posts all with the same issue. This seems to be due to poor design that never should have made it past the quality assurance engineers, having a metal hinge screwed into non-reinforced plastic. I find it reprehensible that a premium laptop was made so poorly. I am told by local PC repair shops that it will cost me $400+ to get this fixed. That's 1/3 what I paid for the machine in the first place.I tried calling support and was directed to log onto the support site for assistance, from which I was directed to search the forums. I thought HP made better products than this, but hadn't wanted to put up the money to get one to find out. Then I bit the bullet and got rewarded with a busted hinge on a laptop that spends its days being used by my wife at home, bring opened and closed 2-3 times per day. And now it seems like I'm going to get the runaround to get this fixed, or just have to trash an otherwise great machine due to crappy hinges. I love this laptop as far as performance and hardware specs go but it is a pain to open and close to try and avoid breaking the other hinge and essentially removing the screen.Any guidance on what I can do to get an actual answer or a case submitted to get any useful help?More replies

I have a currently crippled HP touchsmart 300-1003. I replaced a dead hard drive with a new 1TB HDD. The official recovery CDs do absolutely nothing but tell me MBR IS MISSING PRESS CTRL ALT DEL TO RESTART. The bios lists my new HDD (can tell because size is now 1000GB). I cannot choose USB drive as first boot in bios or boot order (this pc has two different menus for the same function, idky). Is there a bootdisk I can use to fixmbr? Please be so kind to provide a guide to getting a touch computer running from the begininng. All the advice online seems to be for computers that will go to a recovery screen already. If I could do that I wouldn't need the disks, lol. I would like to install the touchsmart software but will settle for any windows at this point. Thanks in advance to anyone that is able to walk me through the process.1 Hour Later: To use MSWIN7 USB Tool, I had to ENABLE BOOT DIAGNOSTIC from BIOS, power on, let the black screen read Configured 01 usb drive, ctrlaltdel, f10 to bios again, disable boot diagnostic screen, save and continue f5, then hit ESC for tiny boot menu at the HP LOGO, pick USB 2.0 as first boot. The tool started windows as Repair (which I followed MSguide for bootsec and /fixmbr, no clue if that fixed mbr tho) and Install Windows 7. I picked install. More updates to come.

In my quest to clean out a bunch of unused programs, I found that I have HP TouchSmart Recipe Box.
After researching about this, I decided it just might be something my wife could use; however, everything I have read about it says it is for HP TouchSmart computers.
My desk-top is HP but I don't think it is a TouchSmart.
My question is, must we have a TouchSmart computer to utilize the HP TouchSmart Recipe Box ?
Try these Google searches:
HP Magic Canvas
HP TouchSmart Recipe Box
What exact model of HP do you have? I find it difficult to believe it isn't a touchsmart if it came with the software. It looks like the apps can be used with a keyboard in many cases, though. See review video in your other thread.

Good Evening, I have a HP Touchsmart TM2-I can supply the specs if you need them- and it has just started to crash at almost every click/action which I take. THis has only happened within the last couple of days and it has been instant, rather than over time. I did a System Restore but this didn't solve the issue. It may ahve been because I had to stop a disk check last week because my laptop battery died but I'm not sure if that would have such a big effect on the laptops performance.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks a lot
That would have a huge effect not finishing a disk check. If you can boot in, Make sure you have your power adapter attached, Go to Start/Search and type CMD Right click the CMD.exe icon in the Search Results and Run As Administrator. In the Command Prompt type chkdsk /R and press enter. Now type a Y and reboot the computer. The Check Disk Utility will try and fix any problems.3 more replies

Hi @markdag, Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel.I understand that you are looking for information on connecting your Touchsmart All-in-One to a PS4. I am happy to give you a hand with this. The available connections on Touchsmart and All-in-Ones in general vary from model to model. Some have an HDMI port that can be used as an input, and others do not. Looking at the specifications of the model you gave: HP TouchSmart 600-1350a Desktop PC Product Specifications, it shows in one diagram that it could potentially have video inputs, but it is an option. If your system does not have those, then you would not be able to use the display on the All-in-One with your PS4. I hope that helps clarify, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.1 more replies
My HP Touchsmart has never worked properly, Tons of problem, crashing error message etc etc. Computer was sent to HP for repair but it came back whit the same problem. I have spent hours with HP tech support running scan and making recovery with no succes. Recently I have replaced the hard drive on HP tech support recommendation. it worked for awhile but now it dosen't even boot! I don't want to call HP anymore and I wander if somebody can help me or if I should just give up.
Call HP and ask to talk to a manager, then explain what's happened and the number of times you called and that you've had to send it back and demand that they replace the computer with a new one. All-in-Ones are similar to laptops, the repairs are expensive and parts are hard to get, it's best to get the manufacturer to repair or replace it especially under the warranty.
Hi, I need to purchase a new motherboard for my TouchSmart 610. I've opened up the computer and found that the motherboard installed in the computer is model number DA0ZN8MB6I0 (Part number 648511-001). While trying to find a place to purchase this mother board, I see that is motherboard is fairly expensive. While searhing I also found another motherboard, model number DA0ZN9MB6H0 (Part number 648512-001), which is also used in the TouchSmart 610. Visually this motherboard looks the same at the orignal motherboard and is significanly cheaper. The part numbers differ by only one digit (before the revisoin number, 001), which makes me think that the two motherboards are very similar. Does anyone know if these two motehrboard are compatiable/interchangeable? Where can I get information on the difference between these two motherboards? My motherboard has a built in video cards, does anyone know if the second motehrboard does as well? or will I need to purchase a seperate video card if I were to purchase that motherbaord? Thanks for the help.More replies
I was unplugging my power cords and I happened to turn off the power to my HP Touchsmart. Later on when I turned it back on, my HP Touchsmart won't switch on. The lights on the big batter adapter thing is on. The light at the back of the computer indicating that power is reaching the computer is on. However, I just can't turn it on at all. The power button does not light up.I've tried the solutions posted on other threads but nothing has worked. I had just been using my computer the previous day. I suspect that me turning off the main power might have done something.Look forward to getting some solutions.More replies
Hello! I have a TouchSmart 600--an all-in-one with several inputs except one for a second monitor. (On Windows 7). I purchased a VGA - HDMI (AV?) adapter hoping it might work.It did not.Asking for help, or a direction, please. I've searched through several different forum threads similar to mine, but the responses were several years old with no resolution besides perhaps I should have gotten a USB adapter. I've yet to find someone who successfully paired a second monitor. I did get to Display - clicked detect. Nothing was detected. Second monitor (19inch Acer) says no signal. Appreciative of any adviceMore replies
Does anyone here experience install Win XP Pro on HP touchsmart tx2(downgrade from Vista)? I need some advise. thank you.
I would advise you not to install XP on a touchsmart PC. The reasons are as follows.
1. Make sure all of the drivers are available on the HP Support website.
2. Since XP tablet edition is not available in retail, the touch screen won't work.
3. You will have ask HP to give you a OEM version of XP tablet edition (which I don't think they will provide).
If you just want to use it as a non-Touch screen PC. Go you may go ahead only after you have confirmed that the drivers are available.
Post back if you have any more questions.
So I have a question...I am wanting to upgrade my 4GB of RAM to 8GB of RAM. I know type I need but I don't know if I need to buy another 4GB Module or if I need to buy the 8GB kit...Do the RAM Module need to be the same brand or can they be different brands and work.

Hello, Our TouchSmart PC will no longer turn on. It was working yesterday but today will not turn on. The LED on the back of the computer where the power supply meets the PC is off. When you press the power button the LED light flickers green one time but remains off. The computer does not power up at all. I have tested the power supply with a laptop and it is working. I have also tried another identical powersupply on the PC but the same thing occurs. Thanks

My mother bought one of these and the keyboard broke. So I'm using the touch pad.
Problem is the more peculiar buttons like Prnt Screen and Delete went missing.
They went missing for some unknown reason as I was typing.
Does anyone have any experience with this trainwreck of a computer?
Upgraded to windows 10 and now unable to use convenient features I've had for years. My touchpad is disabled, so can't just tap the pad to select what I want; my DigitalPersona fingerprint is disabled and in trying to enable it again, it appears to want to trick me to permanently delete my saved fingerprint. How can I get these features back. Thanks.More replies
Hello I have a touchsmart 300 and it has no sound from the speakers or headphone jack. I have tried the troubleshoot thing and it dont recognize anything wrong with them. please help. ive tried updating the driver and it says it is updated. so lost. thanks.
Did your pc have working sound when new?
Check the volume level, it's easy to turn it right down or mute it.
Check if the speakers are selected by going to the speaker icon in tray near the current time.
Right click on speaker icon, choose 'playback devices'.
A new box appears, with a speaker and it should have a green tick over it.
Right click on the icon and choose the option 'test', you should hear audio tones.
If you don't have a green tick, right click on icon and choose 'enable'.
ok guys i really need some help/guidance here. There is so much infomation here that im sincerely overwhelmed... I will give you as much information as I have and hope SOMEONE can help! First, I hope i selected the correct board to write this in. As stated, I have a pavilion touchsmart23 all in one pc. I am NOT at ALL computer saavy so work with me here. I dont know if its 32 bit or not nor do I know if it is imperative to my issue. Here is my problem. My computer works fine 70% of the time. Suddenly the screen will go black and give me a disk boot error message. I cant remember word for word but this is what it saYS: "no boot disk has been detected or boot disk has failed". When this happenes, I have to disconnect the computer from the wall and reconnect and start over. This always fixes it so it leads me to believe it is some sort of glitch. I called HP and they told me to run a system quick and extensive check on the hard drive which i have done. Both passed and no errors reported. Another thing that will happen is that the screen will go dark, (typically after idling and when i return and move the mouse or type on keyboard, the screen never lights up again as its supposed to when it is no longer idling. It stays VERY dark and I can barely makeout the screen. I am not sure why this is happening nor do I know what steps to take from here. I am hoping someone can suggest the next step for me or refer me to a thread that already covers thi... Read more

I am new to the forum but a long time computer tech. I have been to the forum on various occasions for help on fixing different issues. I have to say this is a great community that helps alot of people including myself. I've ran into an issue that I believe is needing some of you guys expertise.
What I have is a touchsmart laptop from HP that the keyboard and the touchpad mouse quit working. I have searched all over the internet looking for answers and came across a few telling me to pull the battery and AC adapter to reset the computer. I've had no luck on this being a solution. I have read that booting the computer with the touchscreen facing out is what causes this issue.
So I've tried pulling the power and the battery then holding the power button in to drain any residual energy left on the CPU. And upon booting the computer keyboard will respond but only for the menu that states for starting Windows normally or in Safe mode. After letting the computer boot completely the keyboard and touchpad quits working altogether. This is booting it up in safe mode or in normal mode. The laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium and I believe that this is my only issue. Any help or ideas on what else to troubleshoot will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a very interesting problem on my hands. I've had this PC for over 2 to 3 years without any hardware problems.
But one day I was using it like I usually do, no problems at all, when the monitor suddenly flicked off. I moved the mouse around and pressed keys on the keyboard but nothing happened. I waited thinking that it was maybe just updates doing what it needs to do, but after quite a while I knew something was wrong.
I pressed and held the on/off button to shut it down manually and started it up again. The HP screen came up as usual but there were some weird dotted designs across the screen. Then it went black with bigger green lines across the screen for about 3 seconds then went to the windows Vista loading screen. Well, again there were weird lines across the screen but they were white.
After about 30 seconds the screen goes blank and either stayed like that or after a while went to a blue screen.
It restarted and I had the option do an automatic fix from Windows but that failed numerous times.
I hated to do it but I couldn't think of any other way so I tried to restore it to it's factory settings. That was also a no-go so I figure it must be a hardware problem...
Has anything like this happened to anyone but me?
Can anyone think of what hardware might be causing the problem? I have a friend that says something a little similar happened to his laptop and found out that his motherboard was fried... =-/

These are the specs of your system?
Dots/green lines probably mean that graphic chip on that machine is malfunctioning. HP offers 3 years 'parts' warranty on some lines, I have no idea whether your system's age is below 3 years or not from your statement.
First off, i'm going into my 8th hour working on this POS at client's location.
It's an HP Touchsmart 310-1000z touchscreen all in one.
It's a piece of _____. Not the machine itself, but what it has in it designed by HP.
It had 3 trojans and no less than 15 viruses. MBAM found over 500 items, I removed a great majority of them, as well as 5 suspect programs that the owner had not installed but appeared magically.
It was getting OxA IRQL errors, after running sfc /scannow, 2 startup repairs, cleared out all but 3 things in msconfig/startup items, and some other assorted things, i got that to go away, but now on every 3rd or so reboot, I get the 0x1E BSOD. It's very inconsistent, and does not happen in safe mode or safe mode/networking. It only appears in full boot, every 3rd or 4th time.
I figured my last ditch effort would be to do a repair install. So i brought my Win7x64 Ultimate disc from home (computer is home premium) so I could do that.
The recovery partition is all HP crap that overrides the windows recovery tool. I hate it. Basically all it offers is startup repair and system restore and that's it (oh, and no restore points).
When i go to run my DVD, I get a "missing DVD drive or device driver" prompt. The storage protocal is AHCI, and I've gone through seemingly every option under C:/windows/system32/driverstorage relating to ahci, non-raid storage, and cdrom. None have worked. I looked on HP's website, and they do not list any chips... Read more

My Problem is: i have a HP TouchSmart TX2 laptop. and when ever i shutdown my laptop i cant turn it on again. i need to hold on to the power button for about 30sec.
then i can turn it on. by now i still can use it. but it really makes me worried.
Model : HP TouchSmart TX2 s/t: tx2-1115au
OS : Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
Ram : 4GB from original
HDD : 320GB from original
Your computer might just be going into standby mode instead of actually powering down, check your shutdown settings.
Just finshed running the Windows 7 Update from DVD (upgraded from Vista), I am having a issue trying to find the correct version of touchsmart software to use screen typing (as opposed to the keyboard), can someone help me out here. I'll continue to look, but if someone has done this I would appreciate the info.
BTW, the Update option of Windows 7 works great...only had one issue with a lexmark 6500 all-in-one, and I manually updated the software for that.

I'm using a HP TouchSmart 610 and my wireless keyboard (original copy that comes along when I bought the desktop) suddenly stopped working.
I've researched for various solutions online and I found out that I'm suppose to have a wireless receiver. However, I can't seem to find it on my desktop. I'm quite sure I didn't pluck it out or anything of that sort, is it possible that the receiver is in-built?
Anyway I've tried the following:
1. Replacing the batteries
2. Taking the batteries out and putting it back in again
3. Hold the 'connect' button for 5-10 seconds
Those didn't work for me and I'm hoping that I could find a solution here.
Thanks in advance!
p.s hope I'm posting this in the right forum.
how many batteries does the keyboard have 2 or 4
also the spring is that connecting correctly to the battery - so make sure that the batteries are all connected and touching the spring and positive bit of metal
Usually the touchsmart comes with a receiver USB device
have you tried removing that and refitting
do you have a wireless mouse and is that working OK

i would really appreciate it if somebody could lead me to a resource where i can
find XP drivers for the touchsmart IQ700 HP desktop.
what i tried so far...
1.googled (nothing, just HP's crappy driver detective that they want you to pay for)

i still need sound,lan etc...
4.Came to techguy!!!
Email Hp and ask them for Xp support, you never know when ure lucky
So one of the Civilian guys i work with has an HP Pavilion Touchsmart with Windows 8 installed and he overheard me talking to someone about my ability to wipe a computer and clean-install windows 7. He asked if i could do it on his new HP since he basically refuses to use it because of 8 and can't take it back...I've done a lil bit of research about this PC and i guess it wasnt offered in a 7 variant (at least i cant find it) and i read a few articles about downgrading only being possible on Windows 8 *PRO* machines.
I've tried the conventional boot from flash drive with Windows 7 install files, and try to install but it says it cannot do it because the partition style is GPT...and i have no earthly clue what that is...it's new to me. I've wiped and clean installed windows 7 on countless computers now...even one that had windows 8 on it that was an HP...but for some reason this one is extra tricky.
Any body have any Tips or Tricks, links or anything that can help guide in the right direction to getting 8 off this thing and putting 7 on it? It has to be possible...like i said, i've done countless computers now and havent failed yet...but this one has me scratching my head...HARD!!!
EDIT: Wanted to post up the exact product specs for future use

I have an AMD Radeon HD 7650A Graphics card and seem to have a driver issue with windows 10. I keep getting the following error message: No AMD Graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware. I have installed a new driver (from the AMD website) - still had the same problem.I next performed a complete clean installation (uninstalled everything then reinstalled it) - still had the same problem.I have even tried a system reset - but it won't let me do that either. A friend told me that only the drivers from the HP website would work - i have looked for them but you don't seem to have the drivers for windows 10. I upgraded to windows 10 when the OS first came out and it worked fine up until this graphics card issue started about a month ago. Any ideas on how to correct this?? I'm so frustrated with this Vista TouchSmart!!
