We couldn't install Windows 10
0xC1900101 - 0x40017
We've set you PC back to where it was right before you started installing Windows 10
The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during BOOT operation
What was tried: Connected straight to ethernet, Turned off wireless and Defender A/V, Removing the D/L files, D/L fresh from ISO file, launched install file, went through approx 50% and PC rebooted - nor stuck on black screen with swirling dots for OVER 4 hours with a brief HD access every couple of seconds.
Rebooted again -- still swirling dots on black screen. Tried again, same results.
Rebooted with F8 to get original Win 10 back.
Turned on "metered connection" option for WLAN to stop this update from happening. But now I cannot get and security updates for this machine.
Please suspend this D/L until fixed. Cannot afford to have no protection!

When trying to do the update I am told that my version is 10586 and that I need to be at 14393. I tell it to go ahead and do the update and it gets to 2% and then it tells me something went wrong and gives me error code 0x80070005.

A:Windows 10 anniversary update won't install

I know this is odd, but I saw this on another site and it has worked for me on 2 computers so far. Click on the anniversary update, let it check your system and then let it download the update. As soon as it starts to update, disconnect the wireless or LAN. It was able to update after this. Once it got past this section, I connected to the wireless again. About to do this with my 3rd computer. None were able to update before.

Here is the Service Manual: Manual Pages 41-47 show removal of the service bay door and replacement of the hard drive. Just install the SSD in place of the hard drive. You can remove the mSSD drive. It is not useful with a main SSD drive. It was designed only to speed up a regular mechanical drive.  Do you have a Windows 10 installation disk? First of all, I'm coming from Windows 7. I'm one that was able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free.

Am I able to perform a clean install of Windows 10 using the same license I currently have on Windows 10? How would I obtain my current key, then? Is it s imply the Product ID listed under Control Panel>System ?

Can I download a copy of the installation media which already contains the AU update?

How would I install Windows 10 onto a M.2 drive? Is it as easy as picking the hard drive to install Windows on during setup?

A:How do I clean install Windows 10 Anniversary Update?

You could just use "reset my pc".

Alternatively, create bootable usb stick or dvd

Windows 10

Boot from it, choose custom install, delete all partitions on drive you want to use (backup data first of course), and skip key entry as not needed as you have already upgraded.

I've having trouble installing the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

The installation of the update seems to get to about 70% complete, then I get a BSOD saying "kernel security check failure".

Then the update system automatically rolls back my Windows installation to the pre-Anniversary Update version.

Not sure which driver is causing the problem. Hopefully, the attached logs will help to narrow down the problem.

Thanks for any help.

If I enter my service tag and go to drivers will all the drivers that I need be there?
(I had an old Dell with Windows XP. I did a clean install on it once. I think there was one device that was listed as unknown. I put in the dell driver disk and it install most of the missing drivers I needed, as I recall. But you no longer get disks with Dell computers.)
Is there a place to download a drivers disk?
If I open Macrium Reflex, it shows that there are 5 partitions. One is the c: drive, one is PBR Image, one is wintools (I think). What are the other 2? They must be Dell partitions as I never created any partitions.
I looked up the model number of my harddrive and it appears to be a standard hard drive. Somebody said that there could be a small SSD that is used to help the other drive boot faster. If there was such a drive, wouldn't I see if I opened Optimizer? Or in Macrium Reflect?
The model number of my harddrive is WD10EZEX

3. None - unformatted 128/128 (must be a windows thing as my second drive that I added has this too)

I have a problem after installing the Anniversary Update of Windows 10. This post concerns the process which involves a clean re-install of Windows 10 by the method which includes downloading and running Microsoft's Media Creation Tool, choosing "Create Media for another PC". This downloads an ISO of Windows which, when put on a USB stick, can be used to boot the computer and clean-install Windows 10 (no license key required because Windows 10 was already running, although I have my license key.) I am told that this produces a "very clean" install which would clear any glitches in the previous install. Programs would need to be re-installed.

My question please: assuming that the Media Creation Tool will be downloaded after the Anniversary Update was installed, will it produce a Windows 10 + Anniversary Update version ?

Thanks for any help.

PS: I wasn't able to create a Macrium System Image which would include the Anniversary Upgrade because my problem occurred immediately after the Update. If you are interested in what that problem is, go to:

Windows 10 Anniversary Update Might Hide Partitions After Install

One of the issues experienced by users after installing the Windows 10 Anniversary Update concerns partitions, as many of those who upgraded their computers reported that a number of partitions disappeared from File Explorer.

Furthermore, all partitions show up as RAW in Disk Management, which makes most people believe that all their data has been removed and nothing can be recovered.

Microsoft, however, claims that this is just a bug discovered in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update install system, and while no files are lost, it?s critical for users not to try to recover anything with third-party apps because this could lead to completely breaking down the partitions and removal of data.

?Microsoft is aware of this issue and is working on a solution to be released through Windows Update. Any data you have stored on the affected partition is still there. We recommend that you not try to recover or otherwise write data to the affected partition, nor should you format the partition,? the company says.

You can also downgrade in the meantime
Microsoft?s Sharath Srinivasa goes on to explain that a patch will be released to users when it?s available and states that users who do not want to wait for it can always downgrade to their previous Windows version. Partitions should be then just as you created them, with all files once again accessible.

For the moments, there?s still no timing on wh... Read more

Hello,I recently purchased a new 2016 model Spectre x360 (PN X7V20UA). It came running Windows 10 1511, and I would like it to be running 1607 (Anniversary Update). However, the update to 1607 is not being offered inside of Windows Update. I've installed everything that was available, include today's November patch releases, to no avail. Windows Update shows "Your device is up to date." This link http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2016/10/hps-new-spectre-x360-is-probably-the-best-pc-laptop-around/ says that the 1607 update is being blocked on this model temporarily due to driver compatability issues. A:Trouble trying to install Windows 10 Anniversary Update, version 1607

Hello JRAllen72653 Welcome to the Ten Forums!

One advice I can provide here would be to try a different method for either update by upgrade or planned clean install which doesn't seem to be what you have been looking for. When the Redstone 1 update didn't even arrive here for 3 separate desktops as well as a recently new laptop where 10 came already on not seeing the update still lead to fail of the MC Tool to see the immediate online upgrade take place or create the usb media needed.

Twin solutions were then sought! The first in order to see all machines updated was to download the "windows.iso" by way of the MC Tool which equals both the 32bit and 64bit flavors for both the Home and Pro editions. We call that a "4 in 1" type of download that covers everyone.

The second item on the agenda did opt to use a 3rd party program not the Windows option to mount the iso downloaded onto each machine or run from a flash drive where the setup.exe main executable would be manually started to watch each upgrade install take place. Once all systems were set which included one desktop only lately being upgraded from 7 Home Premium to 10 Home and then still waiting for the update to go on before return to owner was to visit a MS download iso type page to grab both the 32bit and 64bit smaller Dual Edition iso downloads to keep onhand.

For a final fix to all older already made up flash drives for the Threshold 2 update last November as well as for Windows Insider P... Read more

Hi,
I have a Packard Bell OneTwo S3221. It came factory installed with W7.

I upgraded to W10 last year after difficulty - upgrading to W10 via Windows update would not work, kept installing to a certain percentage then would reboot to a blank screen and freeze indefinitely, I needed to power off then on restart it would roll back to W7. This happened repeatedly despite trying all sorts - clean boots, uninstalling antivirus and updating drivers, etc.

I finally installed W10 using Media creation tool. Everything ran fine. But when the big update came in Novmember 2015 that failed to, in the same way as above, however all other monthly windows updates install fine.

Windows update never tried to push the Nov 2015 update on me again - I'm still on build 10240 now.

I was prompted to install the anniversary update by Windows update last week but that also failed in the same way as above. Download ok and begins installing fine, then at some point after 50% complete I get the blank screen indefinitely and have to power off, then it reverts back to W10 build 10240.

Having checked Packard Bell website my model is not supported by Packard Bell for W10, and they are not providing any drivers for it. This may explain the problems.

Can anyone suggest how to find out what the problem is and if there is a solution? I've tried looking in Update history for error codes, but there is none, it doesn't even show an attempt to install the anniversary update. Like i said every other ... Read more

A:Can't install Windows 10 Anniversary update, stuck on build 10240

Hi, simplest answer is avoid windows update and create the appropriate bootable medium or iso and use it as you did before.
As you know plenty of people have this sort of problem.

Note that the upgrade can introduce new issues for some (search the net), and some are delaying because of that. Older machines like yours could well exhibit such problems. So before you make this change, I recommend you create a disk image of your existing setup - a procedure you should do routinely anyway- to give another way of restoring your system.
E.g. Macrium Reflect (free) + its boot medium + external storage for images.

It's best to have a physical bootable medium as it covers all of:
a. if you need to repeat the installation
b. as a bootable medium for recovery options
c. in case you need to do an in-place upgrade repair install

without taking up disk space.

A:Anniversary update won't install - no error code

Hi, download the ISO manually and create a bootable medium (which is useful in various circumstances).
(How - where- see the Tutorial section or search the net- not difficult).

That way you download once and can retry and have it available for other purposes. Also you avoid issues with Windows update.

From an admin command prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.
Make sure the result is clear or fixed.
Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:
How do I see the results of a CHKDSK that ran on boot? - Ask Leo!

Disable any AV. Disconnect any devices you don't need. Uninstall any program that affects or modifies your GUI.

Do a clean boot then try the upgrade using the Win 10 DVD/USB.

If it fails again, you can have a look at the log:

Pros:
Seems a bit faster overall - I did a complete system image backup in 00:02:09 (previously took 00:02:35)
OS install uses less space (at least for my installation)
Event viewer shows no new instances (I had two known issues before and they are still there)
Reapplied many of Brinks tutorial suggestions and most of them worked... except this one:

gpedit management notice is missing (second screen shot) so I can't say for sure if it will work (or not).

Cons:
Win10BGChanger1.2.1 still doesn't work (as expected)
Sound removed from notifications by default (not a con for me though)

All in all, working well so far (for me).

I am unable to install the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, keeps failing after second restart (at around 75%).

Machine is a relatively recent custom build, a little over 12 months old: Gigabyte B85M-HD3 (rev 2) mobo, i5-4460 CPU, Geforce GT 740 2GB GPU, 8GB RAM, Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD. Been running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (1511) with no problems. sfc /scannow gives a clean bill of health. No apparent issues with drivers, Device Manager shows all good.

Tried installing via Windows Update and also via the downloaded Windows 10 Upgrade executable... same result. Everything goes well up until the second restart and then the start screen just hangs with the little circle of dots twiddling around indefinitely - up to 8 hours - and no hard drive activity whatsoever.

The only USB devices connected are my keyboard and mouse. I've tried installing in Clean Boot mode with all startup items and non-Microsoft services disabled... no difference. Tried increasing the size of the System Reserved partition from 350MB to 500MB... no difference. Tried installing while disconnected from the internet... no difference.

Hello all.
Running windows 10 pro 64 bit.
I've updated from Version 1511 to the anniversary update, 1607.
Or at least, I thought I did.
The update went well, no hiccups, no errors. Used windows update, let it downloaded and install and rebooted. Alas, system still shows OS Version 1511.
Used update again, same thing, rebooted, 1511.
Went to the windows site, downloaded the windows10upgrade9252.exe, ran it, same exact issue, rebooted, still showing version 1511.
Error logs show no issues. Disabled all external drives, turned off anti-virus, etc, repeated, rinsed, rebooted, still version 1511.
Only think I've not done is burned an ISO to DVD and updated from that.
Any clues as to what's going on?
Thanks!

The problem whilst seemingly minor is especially annoying given that I have performed the updates for some friends and it is a matter of pride to me that I hand over any such systems in a perfect state.

The Start Menu program list (A - Z list) as well as the "most used" and "recently added" lists contain icon tiles for the installed programs. On both systems around 25% of these tiles display a generic "blank page" image rather than the icon image associated with that program. That said the tile in question opens it's associated program and it's text label also displays correctly.......as I said earlier an annoying niggle!

By now you are all thinking ah its a icon cache failure just rebuild the icon cache!! I have of course rebuilt the icon cache following the instructions contained in option 2 of the tutorial here www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5645-icon-cache-rebuild-windows-10-a.html as well as deleting the C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\IconCache.db file neither of which corrects the issue.

I have an existing Windows 10 Pro installation. My partitions are:
system reserved: 500 mb
C: boot, page file, primary partition
E: logical drive
F: logical drive
I would like to do a clean install with WIN 10 Anniversary Update (1607), and convert my disk from BIOS to UEFI.
What modifications would i need to do to GPTgen while upgrading and maintaining my programs and data?

Thanks

A:clean install with anniversary update & disk conversion BIOS to UEFI

Modifications....none.

Windows 10 already utilizes GPT partitioning....on a clean install. The only thing you would need to do is change your BIOS firmware from Legacy BIOS to UEFI BIOS. You will need to confirm that in your BIOS. Or to check with in windows.....in the search bar of cortana, type system information and when the window pops up, scroll down to BIOS mode......here's mine.

I am trying to update from Windows 10 OS Build 10586.589 to the Anniversary Update but my computer freezes at 1% progress. I have tried everything I can think of including: Unplugging all extra SATA drives except my main SSD, unplugging my wireless network adapter, unplugging all USB devices (even mouse and keyboard), removing old drivers and updating outdated ones, and installing the update through a USB flash drive. It always gets to the same part and freezes until I shutdown my computer and lose no data.

You can see pictures of the frozen screen here: http://imgur.com/a/PseoH.

I recently installed the Anniversary Update to Windows 10 in my Acer Aspire E1-572 and since installation have been unable to gain access to the internet.  I have spoken with Microsoft several times and their conclusion is that I do not have the appropriate driver installed to run the AU.   I wonder if this is correct as I had no trouble with windows 10 intil the AU was installed.  Can someone tell me how to install the driver and also how can I when I cannot access the internet with that laptop.   I have a second laptop (Acer Aspire ES1 - 512) which I am using at present which also had the same problem but because it was only updated a few days ago I was able to return it to the previous build of Windows 10.  Can anyone help please?

My two pcs at home don't show the Anniversary Update at all, otherwise they're both fully updated.

It's been available since 2nd August. I could manually install it, but I'm wondering why it hasn't auto-installed yet.

Also, have the initial 'issues' reported with the update been resolved?

A:Windows 10 Anniversary Update

Assuming your devices have enough space, resources, etc to get the update - with past updates it may take up to two months to make it around the slow ring. You can speed this up by changing to a faster ring or manually getting it.

I am not sure what "issues" you are referring to.. so, maybe?

Do you have Fast Startup turned on in Power Options/change what the power buttons do?

That speeds up boot time, but makes shutdown a bit slower, as then the system needs to write your current state to a hiberfile.

sorry for the rant I am just frustrated.

A:Windows 10 anniversary update

Hello, if you search the web, you will find a significant number of people are experiencing significant issues with the anniversary upgrade including freezing. As yours is a custom built PC, there's no direct comparison or manufacturer to refer to. I've noted a couple who needed a BIOS update.

If yours works reliably with Win 10 10586 but not the anniversary upgrade, I suggest you roll back to 10586 (allowed up to 10 days after upgrading) and block the upgrade. This is/was possible even with the Home edition:
Stop Windows 10 from automatically updating your PC - CNET
e.g. by using Wifi only, as a metered connection or disabling the appropriate service.

You'd need to check what actually works now in the anniversary edition for Windows Home, as this, like features and GUI, may have changed.

This was provided for Home users.. I don't know if it still applies now.

Microsoft are going to be rolling out improvements to Windows 10 systems over the coming weeks (starting today) with the "Windows 10 Anniversary Update"... think of it as a service pack!

If you're using Windows 10 already, you'll likely notice some big changes/improvements when it hits - including a new style start menu. There is more information on what can be expected on the Windows Insider blog:

I have read other threads on this subject and have not found the solution to my problem in them.

The Windows 10 Anniversary Upgrade Assistant Icon appeared on my desktop. I began the process to update and received the error, SOMETHING WENT WRONG (code 0x80070057).

Then I took the following steps:

Did a CC clean of drive. Got same response.
Did a disk doctor and then tried again. Same response.
Did SFC/scannow. Got same response.
Did checkdsk/. Got same response
Did Windows update diagnostic and got SERVICE REGISTRATION IS MISSING OR CORRUPT.

What do I do to correct the problem?

This worked for me. May not solve your issue but worth a try. (see my post)

"Got it updated. On the MS Forum it seems to have been an issue for lots of users. One work around suggested was to disconnect (immediately) any wifi/ethernet connection when update sticks at 2%. Count to 30 or 40 and re-connect."

Strangely this worked and update completed.

Valterred The Anniversary Update (AU) is a whole NEW version of Win10.  The previous was 10586; this is 14393 -- and the community Win10 forums are awash with folks whose machines, which had previously been running Win10 without problems, SUDDENLY developed problems either trying to install this Update, or after installing this Update. My desktop has been running Win10 without problems since the earliest days of the Insider Preview over a year ago and it's sailed through Update after Update without problems.  So, you can imagine my surprise when the AU trashed my PC -- to the degree that I restored it from an image backup. What MIGHT work is something known as a repair-install.  This is the least destructive of all the Windows recovery functions and rewrites the Windows system files, including the drivers, leaving your data, settings, and applications intact. To do this, you will need to use the link to download Win10 installation media and either burn a DVD or create a USB stick: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10Note that when you go do download and build install media, the tool defaults to matching what is already installed on your PC (as in, Home for Home, 64-bit for 64-bit).  Make sure you select the same version as needed for your PC. If you do not, the resulting media will be different and will force you to enter a NEW product code!Once you have that media, follow the instructions in t... Read more

ALrighty then...... I see a LOT of windows anniversary threads, sorry for not reading all 6 million of them to see if my problem was addressed. By the titles I saw it wasn't.

Anyway, I've gone through this whole download install thing about 5 times now. EACH time at the end it won't boot my computer, comeback with a blue screen and an error that says basically: You don't have enough memory.

I have OVER 800GB on the main hard drive itself empty.

I have tried updating when it said it was time. FAIL

I tried manually going to updates after the first fail. FAIL

I downloaded the file directly from Microsoft. FAIL

I ran the microsoft update fixit tool. FAIL

I get it. I need to either get a thumb drive or a disc and burn an iso but WHY? I don't have a single disc or thumbdrive with 850gb's on it, which is how much i have on my computer empty NOW and Microsoft says it isn't enough.......

So far this is really the *biggest* problem I have had with win 10 and really it's not a *problem* yet that is particularly difficult (just a PITA).

Anyway, can I do this without an ISO? and can you direct me to the thread or tutorial on HOW to do the ISO/thumbdrive thing? I really hate making duplicate threads for the same problem, but those threads were all over the place.

Hi all, thanks for dropping by my post and having a read.
So.. yes by the looks of things there seems to be on various boards problems with the windows 10 anniversary update.
Unfortunately I am in that camp.
2 desktops and a laptop have all been struck with the same issue.
W10 installed update installed witha few hiccups but apart from a boot loop everything seemed to work.
Then ....
Trying to access webpages, completely random on all machines, I've tried firefox, opera, chrome, ie and edge (all the same) and all the pc's seem to struggle loading webpages, the screen tells me "The webpage failed to respond please check dns and firewall". However refresh them about 5 times and it loads. Its completely random sometimes it works no problems and sometimes there are problems.
So I formatted the pc's just incase there was a real problem and re-installed w10 on all machines and damg it... appeared again .
the last update to w10 is

Hi and welcome to windows central.
The fast and easier way to update to anniversary update is to use media creation tool from Microsoft website and make a bootable disc then update your system. This is the best practice as there is minimal chance of your system getting stuck on or during the update.
If you want to ignore the anniversary update on windows 10 PC , simply go to advanced setting under update and tick the box next to Differ Updates, this will enable you to get the threshold 2 future cumulative builds and ignore the anniversary update altogether.

Hi,
I previously posted a question under same topic and received 2 alternatives - 1) to copy the update on a bootable disk and 2) to differ updates in advanced settings.
Unfortuantely both doesnt work for me due to
1) I do not have a disk drive in my Samsung Series 5 Ultra book
2) I have windows for private use
Can you please come back with a third option?
Thank you!

It has a USB port, correct? You should be able to make a bootable USB flash drive (4GB+ required)... http://forums.windowscentral.com/e?l...token=9HADEBIK

Hi,
I am currently running Windows 10 Pro edition 10586.494 without issue,as I have not yet received the
automatic update to the Anniversary Edition I decided to install it manually.

I downloaded the Windows 10 upgrade assistant and it checked my PC and proceeded to download and verify, however when it came to the install I got the error message shown....
I have since attempted several times to perform the install, but have had no success,
would appreciate some assistance if anyone else had encountered this problem, and managed to solve it...

windows 10 anniversary update started automatically.  Afters 3 hours waiting and 3 times reboot, the system freezes.  The blue windows flag appears. But no login-screen.  Boot in safe-mode is not possoblie because the F8-key does not work.  Go back to previous version is also not possible because i can not choose that.  The Z420 has SSD and the data is on a separate HDD-partition.  I found out on Microsoft forums that ,with this configuration , there are  lots of problems. I tried to boot with bootabele USB with the Windows AU update on it.  Than i can only choose for clean installation.  That is not what i am looking for.  Any other suggestions to solve this problem?

I was talking with my friend and she told me to up update my laptop to the the Anniversary update. But, when I go into my update settings, it tells me that Windows is up to date, and I can confirm that I don't already have the Anniversary update. I did perform the "check for updates" option but it still came with the same result.

I tried searching online but there was no luck. Hoping an expert could help me solve why my laptop is not letting be update.

A:Windows is up to date, but I don't have the Anniversary Update

I think Microsoft were gradually upgrading computers in phases, rather than all at once, so perhaps they haven't enabled yours yet. That said, they were supposed to be doing new hardware, and I notice my really old laptop (upgraded all the way from XP bit-by-bit) updated itself when I switched it on this week.

You can force it to upgrade if you like - see this tutorial: Windows 10 - Upgrade Installation
Step 4 links to the Microsoft website which contains a link to start the upgrade; alternatively you can download the ISO installer using later steps in that tutorial.

A word of caution - if Microsoft haven't enabled your machine yet, there may be good reason.
If you want to upgrade yourself I would take the opportunity to make a backup image (I use Macrium Reflect but other tools are available) before starting an upgrade.

You should still be getting security patches and updates and if I'm honest there isn't much in the Anniversary Update which makes it a 'must have' for me, so the other option is to wait a little longer.

Hi.
A week ago I installed anniversary update, which doesn't probably need mentioning, gave me enough problems to last for months. My problems are regarding graphic drivers, which crash at next reboot even before windows login screen shows, and it means I can't do anything except hard restart PC.

I end up using my USB bootable windows 10 to repair startup, and it helps for next few reboots, but it eventually crashes again.

Bear in mind, I already used "reset your PC" option - which of course updates my PC with same anniversary update so I'm back to square one. Next I restored my C: image back yesterday (before updating with anniversary update I used Macrium Reflect free image backup) which worked, but today when I first started PC it happened again.

I repaired startup after that again and it works now, and I uninstalled completely NVIDIA drivers from my PC, restarted it and reinstalled newest drivers (this is last thing I done so it works for now, but need to give some time to see if it persists).

I'm wondering, is there a way to install fresh windows 10 install but without anniversary update? It seems when I want to clean install it always updates to latest update.

It boggles my mind how is that update even allowed to be available in live let alone exist at all...I seriously hope they didn't break or bugged something on my PC.

Basically, only problem I have with that update is graphical driver issue. Those drivers worked flawlessly before updating.

I have a Thinkpad X61 duo core 7673CCU and have been using Windows 10 Pro without any problem until a recent Windows update after it kept crashing with error stopcode netwlv32sys "Driver iqrl less or equal". It says my drivers are updated and I also ran a memory diagnostic test and sfc /scannow with no errors. A Microsoft agent support said rolling back to 1511 version instead of 1607 Anniversary might help so they ran a media creation tool but after verifying the download the option to keep my files was greyed out saying I might have an 'unsupported version'. Then I lost the agent. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to go back to before the update was installed or how else to fix the crashes? Any manual Lenovo drivers that would work even if they aren't meant for x61? On system recovery it says I cannot go back to an old build because 10 days have passed. On the event log under the crash it says 'bug check 0x000000d1 (0x935ac3c0, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x92c8096c). 'Thank you.

The laptop is continuously restarting and flashing the above message.  I can't get to my files or setup of any kind.  Please note windows 10 anniversary updated installed without any problems on my desktop.  Is there a solution or has anyone
