Hello Dell.
I did a quick search, the HD5500 graphic card should support the resolution output.
Could you confirm I can use the HD5500 can output to external display as extended display for my laptop and this ultra wide display.
What specification of HDMI cable should I use pleast.

A:Is it possible to run game at 1920*1080 resolution in 18.5-inch LED monitor

Mate, the difference between a 18 inch monitor and a 21 inch monitor, is quite literally, 3 inches. What resolution a monitor will support is not the same as how big it is.

You cannot run 1920x1080 on that monitor, because your monitor only supports 1366x768, it has nothing to do with your pc configuration.

I am thinking of buying new 19inch or 20inch viewsonic monitor which have 1440 x 900 and 1680 x 1050 resolution respectively.

In my system MSI Geforce MX440 graphics card is installed which supports resolutions till 2048 x 1536 but none of the above mentioned resolutions are mentioned inside supported resolutions of graphics card. In that case my monitor will able to show those resolutions..? because in one of the recent post, I read that graphics card doesnt show those resolutions and one from the cat and dog must change. So, please guide.

Recently bought an ultra-wide monitor (LG 29" 21:9 Full HD IPS Display) and cannot achieve it's native resolution of 2560 x 1080.
My video card is AMD Radeon HD 7560D.
I'm using a DVI (Dual Link) to HDMI adapter to connect to monitor's HDMI input.
The highest reported resolution is 1960 x 1080.
What do I need to get 2560 x 1080 resolution?

Hi,

I've a new SAMSUNG laptop (Intel core i5 processor) running Win 7.

Device Manager shows that exist a (core i5) integrated graphic card (Intel HD graphics family) and a NVIDIA GT 520MX card.

It shows the laptop monitor (Generic PnP monitor) managed by Intel HD graphics family and not by NVIDIA GT 520MX...I tried to connect an external LCD monitor and same behaviour (also the new attached monitor is shown under Intel HD graphic...)

It seems NVIDIA card is not used at all....Why ?

Thanks.

A:Monitor managed by integrated Intel HD graphic and not by NVIDIA card

Welcome to the Seven Forums

That is normal with a laptop that has integrated graphics and a nvidia card, the nvidia card will kick in when it is needed.

Recently we purchased a few M700s for the office (6th Gen Skylake HD 530 Graphics chipset). Although the specs on the Intel HD 530 say they should support resolutions a lot higher than 2560 x 1080 59Hz, i am unable to achieve this resolution in Win7 (tried a few Intel driver revisions still no luck).  If i boot the M700 with Gandalf's Win 10 USB, then I am able to achieve that resolution with the same monitor (LG Ultrawide) and DisplayPort cable, so i know these two are not the issue.  So everything points to the Win7 driver. Microsoft doesn't have a native HD 530 driver, and no matter what Intel one i use i always max out at 1920 x 1080 (60i Hz).  I know I am not the only one with this issue, anyone has a suggestion /workaround other than Upgrading to Win10?

Hi guys

Im looking for a new monitor for my system so i can give the one i am on now
22 inch envision to the upstairs system that uses a 13 inch monitor poor quality you get the idea

So I happen to see this little goodie wanted to know if anyone has this particular one or has heard anything about it

FRYS.com*|*LG ELECTRONICS U.S.A.

the specs post full HD also built in tv tuner which caught my eye this will allow me to stream as well big bonus also tru srs and two built in HDMI anyway just wanted to get a couple thoughts on this before i buy

The price seems really good as well Thanks for the input

A:Lg 23 inch full Hd 1080

It looks to be a good monitor and a good deal. But looks like the LG does not have a PC VGA input. So you need to connect your PC to LG through a HDMI cable.

Will HDMI port work in BIOS mode?

Means can you see the boot screen in Text mode while selecting the boot options for Safe Mode etc. I have not verified this till now.

I will check this on my laptop connected to Sony Wega 32" through HDMI port today.

A:Is it possible to run game at 1920*1080 resolution in 18.5 inch LED

LCD monitors have a fixed pitch also know as their native resolution. To get the best picture quality you need to run an LCD monitor at its native/recommended resolution. Anything else is likely to cause distortion. A larger LCD monitor usually has more pixels per inch and thus will have a higher resolution. That Dell monitor you linked to runs at 1366 X 768 at 60Hz. I wouldn't try to run it at 1920 X 1080. For that resolution I'd look for a monitor that supports 1080P.
I run an LG E2242T-BN Flat Panel on my Media center PC and it's 1080P. You'll likely need a 21 or 22 inch screen.

I purchased the car charger Dell 450-AEGT but did not work with my 7348 laptop. Strange enough, it would be compatible with the 7347 and even with the 7352, which shares the same BIOS of mine, but Dell does not list it as compatible with the Inspiron 7348. Is there any Dell-made car charger compatible with the 7348? I would for third-part acessories but did not find anyone that I could be sure it would work anyway.

A:Car Charger for the Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (7348)

Just to update post, Dell told me the 450-AEGT would not be compatible with the Inspiron 7348, but according to what I have researched through their own website, this is a wrong information told by Dell staff (The Inspiron 7348 is listed at middle of the compatibility list):

The laptop charges correctly using the power source that came with it. So, what would be the problem with this car charger 450-AEGT?

Hello guys, I could not find any thread on this issue so Im hoping someone can help me. My Inspiron 7348 2 in 1 laptop's touchscreen will become unresponsive when I interact with it. It will work for a couple of touches but then it will become unresponsive for about 10 seconds before it responds again. I checked for driver updates for the human interface touchscreen and found the drivers up to date. I will usually use the touchpad or a mouse but it's a real bummer that the touchscreen is basically useless since I purchased this model for its 2 in 1 feature. I'd appreciate and input and help, thank you!

I just purchased a Dell Inspiron N5050 laptop computerspecifically because I wanted a computer that would support WiDi (IntelWireless Display) to my HDTV. I had been under the assumption that all currentgeneration laptops included Intel Wireless Display technology.
After receiving the computer, I have just discovered thatthe wireless network card in this machine apparently does NOT support wirelessdisplay technology. Is there a way that I can replace the network card in thismachine with one that DOES support wireless display technology or at least addan additional card to the machine that supports wireless display? Or…am I stuckwith a machine that does not have the capability that I need?  Thanks for any help.

A:Can Inspiron 15 - N5050 Support Intel Wireless Display (WiDi)?

Hi Scott_SK,
Welcome to the Community.
To be able to use the Intel Wireless Display the system needs to have the  following minimum requirement as given in this link below :
www.intel.com/.../CS-031059.htm
Replacing the wireless card(Dell Wireless card with Intel) or adding wireless card will not help as this feature should be enabled on the system from the factory.
If your system is within 21 days from the invoice date you may returm the system for full refund and re-order a system which supports the WiDi technology.
Thank You

A:I need to increase the memory of my dell inspiron 13 7348, how do?

Hi armenio,
The Inspiron 7347 system has 2 SODIMM slots. The system accepts a memory capacity ranging from 4GB and 8GB. The memory type accepted is DDR3L 1600 MHz SODIMM only. The computer supports a maximum of 8GB of memory when installed with two 4GB DIMMs.
In the link below punch in the system service tag or express service code and you can access the user manual for removing and reseating memory. http://dell.to/18r60nI Please let me know if this helps.

Hello there,
My name is Khang, I bought a laptop Dell Inspiron 7348 (Service tag 4GWSB32) when I was in Seattle for business in May last year.
Just about recent weeks, my laptop shutdown unattended after few minutes or 20-30 minutes depend on what I am opening.
I ran F12 check or Support Assist tool, but they seem not showing anything wrong. I doubt this situation is related to CPU over heat at 70 C degree.
After shutting down about 10minutes, laptop automatic turn on, but when I use it, it will turn off after a while.
From discussing in Dell’s forum, I see instruction about disabled Intel speedstep may fix this, but I don’t have code for unlock setup.
Please show me how to fix this.
Thank you,
Khang

Does anyone have an updated information about compatibility between single 16gb modules (like the Crucial CT204864BF160B) and the 7348 2-in-1 laptop? Mine has a 5th gen i7-5500U CPU and is already updated to the latest A08 BIOS released yesterday.

A:Inspiron 7348 2-in-1 compatibility with 16GB modules

Being a 5th generation Broadwell Intel Core 2 CPU, I do think so. It would be compatible. Its price dropped a few days ago to 100USD level, what makes it a nice and relatively cheap upgrade.

How to Repair Corrupted Windows System Files with the SFC and DISM Commands
1. Run sfc /scannow
Will have 3 outcome as below :
1. Windows integrity cannot find any violation : means OS is stable
2. Found error but able to fix : stable but no major file and registry impacted, but may have issue soon
3. Found error but not able to fix : indicate os having issue.
2. Run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to restore Image health, as the command will capture update from microsoft server.
If cannot try to restore, repair boot mbr and last option only do clean installation.

I have a new m700 with an i7 6700 with Intel 530 Graphics. I have attempted several different configurations but I cannot seem to get it to enable the third monitor. (all 1080p monitors) The monitor shows up in the display settings but as "disconnect this display" and any attempts to extend the desktop to it cause one of the other two to be disabled. ??? I am using a Displayport to 3xHDMI adaptor to attenpt this. However I have tried to use a DP to HDMI/VGA adapter as well and it will not allow more than two at once. Even when I add a VGA monitor (connected to the Motherboard) on top of it and it detects all 4 monitors it still tells me that two are disabled and wont allow me to enable extending the destop to any of them.  I have used this adapter on two other computers with Radeon and Nvidia graphics without issue.  I have updated the intel graphics several times and enabled IGD and Multiple Display Support in the BIOS. None of these things work.  Please help! a big part of convincing my boss to order this computer was support for 3 monitors.

I am looking for unbiased exhaustively detailed comparative reviews of high end-(ish) KVM switches that will support dual link (2560 X 1600 resolution) and dual head (two monitors).
I know that KVM switches are not in wide use even among the tech savvy -- so I am having a hard time finding detailed reviews (including front and back images) and recommendations. Can you point me to a site that specializes in KVM reviews? My searches are producing mostly store-front sites.
I need the KVM video connections to be DVI-D (not VGA) [I think that DVI-I would also work as I believe that it is a superset of DVI-D]. Would prefer for the keyboard and monitor connection to be USB rather than PS/2. I would prefer a 3-port switch but can settle for 2 port (and obviously can use a 4-port but do not want to pay a ton of extra money for extra ports that would not be used). Also, the switch needs to support XP and Win7 (so am looking for USB DDM KVM Switches--see link below to paper on DDM switches). Would prefer a model that also switches audio but that is not a deal breaker.
I am currently using an Avocent SwitchViewDVI 2SVDVI10 which I believe is supposed to support dual-link but does not appear to actually support resolutions greater than 1600 X 1200. And I just got a Dell U3011 and want to move up to max resolution. My current switch also definitely does not support a dual monitor setup so it is time to upgrade. (It also does not seem to work correctly switching my Brother printer connect... Read more

A:Looking for KVM switches that will support dual link (2560 X 1600 resolution)

This model from Gefen claims it will support dual link 3840 x 2400 resolution, dual monitors, USB, and audio. They don't mention DDM, so you would need to ask: http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=4322

I haven't used this KVM before, but at my work I have used several other DVI switches and DVI splitters from Gefen with good results.

I have purchased this laptop quite a while back www.dell.com/.../drivers
Recently the screen stopped rotating when I put the laptop into tablet mode. I had to reinstall windows before due to trackpad issues but the rotation function worked fine afterwards until one day I noticed that it didn't work when I tried to rotate. I have tried to reinstall drivers and play around in the device managed but I have had no success. I hope someone can assist me on this.

A:Dell Inspiron 7348 2-in-1 Auto Rotation Stopped Working

Hi danielius16,I’d suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below and check for issue resolution.
Ensure that the auto-rotate box is checked. Refer to these steps:1. Right click or press and hold on an empty area on your desktop, click/tap on Screen resolution.2. Check the Allow the screen to auto-rotate box, and click/tap on OK
Unlock Screen Auto-Rotation in Charm Settings. Refer to these step:
1. Open the Charms bar, and click/tap on Settings.2. Click/tap on the Screen button.3. Click/tap on the screen icon above the brightness slider to toggle to unlock autorotation.
(A lock symbol appears next to the screen icon when autorotation is locked. The screen will not rotate when you change the orientation of the tablet.  If there’s no lock symbol next to the screen icon, the screen will auto-rotate as you turn the tablet).
You can also check by installing available Windows updates including Optional updates.
Hope this helps you.

I have Lenovo Ideapad Y530 Laptop. When i bought the computer Windows Vista was allready installed. I installed Windows XP Home Edition to the C part of my disk,(the part that vista is not installed in). Then I installed the drivers that were downloaded from lenovo web site. The Graphics Card in the computer is NVIDIA geforce 9300M GS. I installed Nvidia Display driver.

There is also another driver graphic driver for this computer on the Lenovo web site: Intel Graphics Driver. But a problem occured when i tried to install Intel Graphic Driver. The error message is "this system doesn't correspond the requirements for this driver, setup is cancelled." Now my system is working at minimum graphic conditions with 4 bit color and minimum resolution. What should I do now? Can upgrading my OS to SP2 or SP3 be a solution?

A:Graphic card for intel DH61ww

Your motherboard has a PCI-E X16 graphics cards slot, so it'll take most cards. Your other considerations are power supply, and whether the card will fit in the PC's case.

Someone may have better advice, but I think that the best card at the moment in your budget range is a Radeon HD 6670, like:

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card (11192-22-20G)

(It's like the 6570, but clocked higher.)

Whether it will give good performance on the games that you name, I have no idea.

Hi, I have a 755CX ThinkPad. The monitor on it is about 12 inches big, but for some reason, windows 98 Only uses up about 10 inches of the screen, and the rest of the screen is still lighted.
I tried changing all of the display options and still no difference.

Perhaps this is a driver problem?

Dear all,

My computer is Dell Precision M6500. The graphic card is ATI FirePro M7740. The computer only has one VGA port.

I used a dock station which has 1 VGA port and two DVI ports. I connected two monitors to the VGA port and 1 of the DVI ports.

In the "Screen Resolution" dialog, I can see 3 monitors: The laptop monitor, 2 external monitors. However, one of the external monitors is grayed out. I can never to make all of the 3 active at the same time.

I am wondering if Windows 7 allows me to use 3 monitors at the same time? Did I miss something?

Thank you.

Hey I'm not sure about how to resolve this, but just FYI, as far as I know, Windows 7 will support as many monitors as your video card will allow. I had 3 connected to my HD 5870 the other day in ATI Eyefinity mode.

I received the laptop (SATELLITE P50-C-18Q) as a christmas present. I didn't really look into its specification until today and noticed that the graphics were lacking considerably compared to the rest of the system. According to the Toshiba website this laptop is supposed to have the "NVIDIA? GeForce? GTX? 950M" graphics adapter, but my systems device manager shows only the "Intel(R) HD Graphics 520" integrated graphics.

The strange thing is I have no idea whether this is correct or not (having not purchased the machine myself). It seems bizarre to have a fairly high spec system without a dedicated graphics chipset. The other thing that suggests something maybe amiss is that there is an 'NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX' sticker on the laptop! But there is no sign of any NVIDIA chipset present - no sign of hardware and no NVIDIA software.

Have I got a problem with this machine (failed chip, BIOS issue??) or is it possible that not all models were sold with the NVIDIA chipset?

A:Does Satellite P50-C-18Q support NVIDIA graphic card?

Hi kand0,
I have the P50-C-18L and this one does have a dedicated Nvidia graphics card (930M), it has 2 stickers Intel Core i7 and Nvidia Geforce.
Try "scan for hardware changes" within device manager->display adapters.

This should display both the Intel and Nvidia adapters. If it does not - take it back you're still under warranty.

Is this known issues for this model ?
Any there any solution of this problem or Should I return the laptop ?

Hi
My Inspiron 13 7348 ( servic tag 4w6yj52)was physically damaged.
one of the two hinges between the display unit  and the base assembly had detached from its cover and parts of the plastics were broken (1. Display BackCover,  2. base assembly.)
1. I uninstalled the base assembly cover
2. I uninstalled the Display BackCover.
then I could clearly see the damaged parts
I opened a service request at Dell site. then I was talking to the part list sale department.
I send them the photos of uninstalled parts (1 & 2)
I asked Dell to have the price for these two parts.
I wanted to purchase these two "Display BackCover & base assembly " (with some attachments on them)
Surprisingly they  to force me to buy the whole display unit which includes the SCREEN and costs about 200$
The Display BackCovly was easily uninstalled , with the guide of the user-manual doc.
I did not succeded to convince DELL that the back-display-cover,  should be sold separately
the Laptop works OK, with the ability to move the display.
Please Help

A:backup cover display and base assembly replacement for Inspiron 13 7348

As is common on hybrid systems, the entire top assembly is fused together with adhesive.  It's all but impossible to disassemble the upper assembly without destroying the glass, LCD and/or defacing the back plastic - as Dell informed you, the entire upper half of the system must be replaced as a single unit.
You'll find this design very common these days on all systems of this type.

I share a standard 16:9 HD monitor between two PC workstations. PC 1 is my administrative computer for basic business productivity. PC 2 is my 3D animation/rendering computer. Quite often throughout the workday, I switch back and forth between both using a StarTech KVM switch.

I?d like to replace my 16:9 monitor with a new 21:9 ultra-wide curved monitor. Since I don?t see any KVM switches for 21:9 ratios, is it possible to share one 21:9 ultra-wide curved monitor between two PCs via their input connections in the back? If so, which one(s)?

Every monitor that I?ve seen has 1 DisplayPort and 1 or 2 HDMI port(s), but unless it?s HDMI 2.0 then I won?t get the full benefit of ultra-wide format, correct?

I?ve been looking for days and I?m weary of searching. Some help would be appreciated. Is it possible to share one 21:9 curved monitor between two PCs at maximum native resolution?

hello there

i bought recently an HP G62-b31ee, it had linux os pre installed but they installed win7 (after formatting the hard drive )

all drivers works fine except the graphic card

- when i opened device manager i found (standard vga graphics adaptor) under display adapters

- i searched for the drivers and found the right version from HP & Intel sites, but failed to install them (neither running the .exe way nor "have a disk" way)

- i surfed the forum looking for a solution in some similar cases but nothing worked

A:64gb ram Laptop with intel graphic card

You cannot.  Any notebook that supports 64G of memory will have a correspondingly high-end (nVidia or AMD) GPU.  There is nothing that stops you from disabling the discrete GPU and using only the Intel one, however -- it's just that there isn't much demand for a heavy duty pickup truck essentially powered by a 3-cylinder engine.

It appears that Intel does not have a Windows 7 compatible graphics driver for your chipset if I read the Intel website correctly. If so, you won't be able to play any games on this PC unless you go back to Windows XP.

I notice my new Graphic card hangs down in my PC because its quite heavy than my old Graphic card. But is fully inserted in the PCI-E slot.

So I wedged a tiny piece of wood between the Graphic card and my HDD to make the Graphic card look level.

So I need to know is a small piece of wood safe inside my PC?

Its not going to cause fire or anything like that ?

Thanks

A:Graphic card hangs down in my PC. Piece of wood okay to use to support

If its properly anchored at the I/O panel end it shouldn't sag.

Also, are you certain its fully seated? Most motherboards have a latch that secures the board in the socket.

I recently bought a dell inspiron 15 (5548) and now im facing somewhat misleading issue wtih the graphics card. Is it R7 m265 or R7 m260?
Latest Dell drivers <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell> show it as m265, but the games stuck and totally not playable after updating bios to A06. Latest Drivers from AMD say its m260 and the games run good (ex: CS:GO at 45-55 fps).
Also when buying dell store guys said m260 / m265 is a dedicated graphic card and this post says it isn't, rather its just a renderer. So, evrything goes thru processor again and so on...
Could someone sort this out for me coz its nowhere mentioned in the product page its a renderer card. Also when will u guys fix that drivers issue? Is it 260 or 265 or just a labeling issue? Im currenly using drivers from AMD and it just works.
Idk it i can post my service tag here. Reply me if its ok.
I need answers guys..

A:inspiron 15 (5548) Graphic card details

The system uses software-controlled hybrid video.  Only the Intel GPU has a connection to the display screen - all video data passes through it on its way to the display, even if it was rendered through the AMD GPU.
Just about all low- to mid-range systems work this way now.  If you need true, discrete GPU support, that's the province of high end Alienware and Precision mobile workstations.   This is just as true of competing systems from other manufacturers.

motherboard chipset: H61
I've upgraded this machine before: PSU 380W and nVIDIA GTS 450
It works fine for a long time.
Today I upgraded my other PC and got a spare PSU 500W and AMD 7950
So I just replaced the PSU and GPU in my old Inspiron 620
When I turned on this computer, nothing showed up, just pure black screen without signal, and there's no beep on this motherboard, so no alert of course. Then I pushed the power button, it turned off immediately which means it didn't pass POST at all.
Now I'm using it with 500w PSU and GTS 450, works fine.
It's clear that the 500w PSU (12v rail 41A) is enough for this system, both PSU and 7950 works fine in my other PC with a more powerful CPU (TDP 115W).
So I suspect it's the compatible problem between H61 motherboard of 620 and AMD Radeon HD 7950
The BIOS version is A10. It's the newest one released in 2013.
Thanks for your help!

yugandhar welcome to the Seven Forums.

It doesn't matter what type of memory is on the video card as it has no relation at all to what is used on the motherboard.

As far as that card you have selected, it is OK for multimedia uses but terrible for gaming. It is the lowest of the low end and even when it first came out (back in 2009), it was barely any better than the Intel graphics of the time.

Hey there
I want to buy a HD LCD. But I'm very confused. I've few questions.

1) Does a LCD with D-Sub can't give me 1080 at PC? (Assuming that LCD had HDMI)?
2) I've 8800GT and it has 2 DVI ports but no HDMI. Can I get 1080 at my PC via DVI port?
3) If I connect LCD via DVI to HDMI converter, will it also transmit audio to LCD monitor?
4) If using D-SUB, will there any video quality loss at 1920 x 1080 compared to DVI?
5) What is contrast ratio? Which is better higher or lower?

A:D-SUB support 1080?

The 8800s are capable of transmitting HD over DVI, so you'll need a DVI-to-HDMI cable to connect to your monitor and you can then transmit HD. You can't transmit audio over DVI (there was one 8800GT card that did allow you to, but why would you want to play it through crappy monitor speakers?).

By D-SUB, I'm guessing you mean VGA, and the image quality compared to standard DVI is less noticable on modern monitors, so you won't see much difference. The only difference is with DVI there's no digital-to-analogue conversion needed like with VGA, and that also means DVI isn't affected by interference due to it being digital, unlike VGA.

A higher contrast ratio is better. The contrast ratio is the luminance between white and black, so a higher contrast ratio will give you more vivid and brighter colours.

I have a Latitude E6520/Core i7/8Gb RAM with standard Intel HD(r) Graphics - would I be able to use the Dell U3415W Monitor externally, connected to the Latitude's built-in display port, and drive the monitor at it's native resolution - WQHD (3440x1440), simultaneously with the built in LCD panel at 1920x1080? How about without the built-in panel?
Incidentally, I'd love to know how to figure this sort of stuff out myself, if anyone has any pointers to doing so.
Thanks,Bob

I conneted a thinkpad t550 windows 7 laptop to this Amazon.com: LG Electronics UM67 34UM67 34-Inch Screen LED-lit Monitor: Computers & Accessories

The monitor is in Korean- sadly I don't know how to change it to English

The monitor is recognized but only shows as 1080p in the center of the screen and the slider for resolution won't let me change to an ultrawide setting- only 1080p or lower and none of them ultrawide

The laptop itself has a 1440p screen

Did not have this problem with my windows 8.1 laptop or windows 10. I tried switching to windows 10 from windows 7 and had a bad experience however with other things so I'll be sticking to win7

Ok, I have read everything I can find and I feel like my head is spinning. I just received a game for my son (Zoo Tycoon 2) we have been playing the demo from the web site and had accidently purchased marine mania and dino digs first. Now I am trying to start it and I don't have the proper graphic card. I have Intel 82810E. The message I get from thier "help menu" says - Intel 82810E - due to limitations with direct X compliance of these graphics chips the game will not start. Driver updates do not resolve issue. Which is true after reading one of the top threads that says to read before posting, I tried all those things and nothing worked. I guess I have to buy or download a new graphic card? I don't know much about computers so my question is - can I find a site, like this one or majorgeeks where I can download a more updated graphic card or is this something that actually has to be purchased and installed in my computer "physically"?

As you have Disabled the Intel GPU ... You will need to Re-Install the Driver ..
To achieve this go to the Dell Website and Download the Driver ...

Like mentioned above. Recently when I was using Microsoft edge, the notification centre told me multiple time that the intel hd 530 graphics card driver for Windows 8 stops working and recovers. It is pretty annoying and for once the system refused to application to access the driver. So I was wondering if the product itself had the intel graphics card along with NVDIA GeForce GTX960. Can anybody help me with it? Helps are always appreciated!

A:Does inspiron 7559 has an intel hd 530 graphics card?

Hi please PM us the system tag# as requested, we will see into it. Only if the drivers are installed the device manager will list both the Intel HD and the NVidia (if opted at the point of sale) , even if the intel drivers are not installed it will show generic display drivers under display adapters.

1. It should be.

2. Start with 450Watts but look at the specs for the card to assure the PSU is adequate, may need to go as high as 750Watts.

On your Dell XPS 15 9550 open up excel (2013 or 2016) and launch any worksheet with data.
Move the worksheet from the built in monitor to the externally connected QHD monitor (which should be in extended mode).
Try scrolling up and down on the worksheet.
Does it look normal or do you encounter graphic distortions?
Thanks in advance

I am considering purchasing the Dell 34" Ultra-wide monitor which has a maximum resolution of 3440x1440 and I'm hoping for help on what hardware I would need to run it. I don't play any games and use it primarily for Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.

My work laptop has an Intel HD Graphics Card 3000. I've looked that up and see that its maximum resolution is 2560 x 1600 with DisplayPort, so I guess it would run at 2560 x 1440 on the new monitor. Would that look OK? Unfortunately I cannot upgrade anything on the work laptop.

My personal computer has an ATI Radeon 4200, which also has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600, and it only has a VGA and DVI output, so I think I should upgrade this to something that can handle 3440x1440 resolution. As I said, I'm not a gamer, and my personal computer is several years old and has only a 300W power supply, so I'm not in the market for anything high end. My computer does have an available PCI Express x16 slot. The graphics card I'm considering is the GTX 750Ti, $109 on Amazon. This has HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort outputs. (I've read mixed views on whether HDMI can handle that output, or if DisplayPort is needed) If I can get 3440x1440 resolution through HDMI, I'm considering the GT 710 at half the price and lower recommended power supply.

Thanks,
Eric

So here's my story. I bought a new graphics card so I can duel monitor. When I took out the old one and was going to put the new one in, i noticed that my current power supply would not hold. It needs a 300 and i have a 260. So I put back the old one, which never had anything wrong with it to begin with, just wanted duel monitor. So now my computer starts but will not connect to the monitors. I have tried both that i have so i know it is not the monitor. Yes everything is connected and yes it is in the right spot. There is only one way it can go. I have talked to may of my friends who are IT's and they have no idea because they say im doing everything right. Please help, I cant afford to take it in to a repair shop.

Hello!

Today I got a new graphic card because the old one kind of died. But with the old one I had two monitors and with the new one I can only connect one of them.

This is a picture of how it was before - both of my screens have the big off-white plugin thingy, and there were two places I could put them in, so it all worked fine.
http://i.imgur.com/6OR771H.jpg

This is a picture of how it is now - there is only one place where I can plug those things in, but just above it are other things from my graphic card, they're just too small.
http://i.imgur.com/JL6yIlu.jpg

And this is a picture of the box of my new card in case it's useful:
http://i.imgur.com/yWygZUN.jpg

So, I think I need to plug in some kind of cable in my graphic card, in the small thingies, and then it should have a big thingy at the end where the big monitor plugin can go. I just don't know if I'm right - and if I am, what kind of cable it should be. If anyone could help me I'd be incredibly grateful!

A:Dual monitor with new graphic card

Check the back of your monitor, if it also has an HDMI port or DisplayPort then you can just buy one of those cables to connected it. If it only has DVI or VGA then you will need to purchase a DisplayPort to DVI adapter. You can find those at most local computer stores, Walmart, or any online retailer.

Your card has three DisplayPort(DP) and one HDMI port in that top row.

Ok, a couple months ago i installed a Nvidia GeForce4 MX 400. It says im running a Delta DB-1765 monitor (i think). What happened after i installed it was that my computer no longer shows my boot. When i start the computer it shows a blank screen until it gets to the log in screen in which the Monitor will then work. What will happen is that when i plug a monitor into the Mother Board then that monitor will show the log up and when it gets to the log in screen that monitor will go black and the monitor plugged into the video card will show the log in screen. I don't know what to do, Please help.

A:Having problems with Monitor/Graphic card

You need to go into the BIOS setup of the motherboard and disable the onboard video or at least set the Primary VGA device to either PCI or AGP depending on what the Geforce card is.

heyas!

here's all my specs before i get into the issue:

OS: vista home premium, 32 bit
wireless card: intel 4965AGN
laptop: inspiron 1520
processor: intel core 2 duo CPU T7100 @ 1.60GHz
no recent crashes to cause the problem, and i haven't been using much anti-spyware other than mcafee security center.

allrighty then, i don't know if that's enough information about the hardware or not. here's my problem, as detailed as i can manage:

my wireless seems really inferior to other computers. i'm right now in about the middle of my campus, UT austin, and i get disconnected from the wireless intermittently. just sitting here i've been disconnected 4 or 5 times over the past 40 minutes or so. in my apartment, they have their own isp, namely Airimba wireless. lots of times i won't be able to get onto the wireless (connect to the router). i just spent 35 minutes talking to a dell support technician, and basically he had me delete all my saved network connections and reboot the computer. problem not solved. it has been suggested to me that perhaps this is a hardware problem; the dell technician basically said vista might be causing the flakiness. one of my huge freshman classes is in a theatre, and i see people around me surfing the web, but i can't get a connection. it happens in certain class rooms too, where others get a connection, but the gods don't favor me.

anyway, i can't imagine that this is a server-side problem. everybody would be complaining. so... Read more

A:wireless help; vista, intel 4965AGN card, inspiron 1520

Hi andrestable

If you are currently using any flavor of the "ACM" (Arimba Connection Manager) software, I'd recommend uninstalling it.

I'd also recommend uninstalling your current driver for your Intel wireless adapter, and then installing this Vista driver set directly from Dell. It's from mid-November of 2007, only nine weeks ago or so, and might help --- http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=233385 --- follow the setup instructions as prompted. (*Note that the initial installation instructions are on the same webpage as the download*).

Once you have that package installed, test your connections. Should you continue to have difficulty, there is a wireless patch specifically for your model, and specifically for your wireless adapter: --- http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=217662

I think that the 2nd patch has an excellent chance of helping significantly.

Remember, that when you are setting up your connections, you won't be choosing Ad Hoc, but Infrastructure. Your connections should also be enabled for Mixed modes, as the Arimba device is a 802.11b device, whereas other WiFi on campus is likely to be 802.11g. Your Intel adapter is able to do all four currently available 802.11 modes --- a/b/g/n.

To the networks that you most often connect to, you can set your laptop to automatically detect. Whether you connect using Vista's builtin Wireless utility, or use an Intel tool included in the driver download, you... Read more
