G580 battery gauge reset problem

Q: G580 battery gauge reset problem

I have a problem with my battery gauge which doesn't seem to show the right battery level and at this point my laptop just dies with no warning when the gauge is at around 40 %. The battery gauge reset doesn't help at all. I've even tried with a new replacement battery, but the results are the same.I hope there is a way to fix this.

Hi, maybe it was already posted but little had no results so i'm opening another message - there is no fix. I have Y510P with Windows 8.1 alomost a year (still have waranty). For now I'm using Battery Gauge Reset several times. The last time appear a problem. I started Battery Gauge Reset and when the PC goes 0% it power off and I can't power on it. After some struggle i found a way to charge it; I have to follow these steps exactly:1. Turn the machine off2. Remove the battery3. Remove power cable from the laptop4. Remove the powercable from the socket5. Insert the cable in socket6. Insert the cable in laptop7. Start the laptop8. Insert the battery while the laptop is starting Then I start to search a solution. I tryed everyting that I found. I already measured my voltage on the power adapter and that seems to work properly, reset BIOS to default setting, power off the PC and hold down power button for 20-30 seconds, reinstall Lenovo Energy Management, charge battery and disharge (from this acticle http://mobilesupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-y-series-laptops/ideapad... ), remove battery and uninstall windows battery driver then insert battery back. Nothing helped! Is there a fix for this problem or I have to go to service?

A:Y510P not charging after Battery Gauge Reset

Hi guys. I try with my car power supply for PC and it works. When I put car power supply to Y510P it alarm me for high current drain for a 1 second and then alarm power off and PC and car power supply works fine. When I put AC power supply it doesnt work but after it have no DC voltage on the out. I have to unplug it from wall soccet and plug it again to works. I think that AC power supply have any high current safety system and power off the voltage.  Maybe problem is in battery.

Hello everyone! My name is Kevin and I've had my Lenovo Y410P for a little less than 2 years. So recently I downloaded Battery Bar as I was realizing that my battery duration was slowly receding.Battery Bar, a program that shows battery level and wear, stated that my 6 cell battery had experienced 54.3% wear. I browsed the internet for specific tips on how to increase my battery duration and came upon battery recalibration. I tried it a couple times manually, but I didn't get any results. So, I then turned to the battery gauge full-charge/discharge function in my Energy Management. After running that through the night, I realized the next morning that the battery was depleted and I couldn't turn on my laptop or even charge my battery unless I followed the steps:- Remove the battery from the laptop.- Plug in the AC adapter and use the laptop without a battery.- The battery can be reattached. The battery is able to start charging. - If I remove the AC adapter for a second and reattach it, it will not be recognized and it will not charge the battery. As of now, Battery Bar shows that I have 0% wear of 52,830 mWh which is significantly less than the full capacity of a 6 cell battery; however, it's still better than what I had before. Anyways, does anyone else have this problem? And if you have, how did you resolve this issue? Thank you!

Noticed twice that my battery gauge toolbar was not showing.  I went to toolbars and the Lenovo Battery Gauge was selected.  NOt sure why the battery gauge was not on the bottom bar then.  So i desected and re-selected it and now it is showing again. What is going on here?  My pc is a Lenovo Yoga 700.. about a month or so old. Ok, now like 10 minutes later it disappeared again and i right-clicked that area and the battery gauge appeared again.  this is the bigger green gauge btw.  Wonder if the auto hide on the bottom toolbar is causing this? Well, add this to the list of unsolved weirdness. This happened again after that.  May have to do with the bar being auto-hidden.  After a while being hidden, when it comes back that battery gauge is gone. Strange.

At some point in the last few days or weeks, the green battery indicator simply vanished from my X1 Yoga (Win10) without a trace, and it seems I'm not the only one with that problem. I tried downloading it from the support page, but the software was removed from the list, and a link from google only leads to a "page-not-found" message. So, what's going on? Will there be a new version of the battery indicator? Why was the old one uninstalled and not just simply updated via system update?

Hi,

I'm using the Lenovo Y40-70 model and I had updated to Windows 10 when it released. I once used the Express charging mode and now there are issues with my laptop.

1. My battery gauge is stuck at 100%, it doesn't reduce at all, I get no warnings for low battery levels and it randomly switches off when the battery reaches 0%. I reset all my power options to their defaults and then also followed the steps in this thread: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-P-Y-and-Z-series/Battery-showing-full-charge-at-all-times/m-p/16...

"hi

Just proceed with
open Device Manager, expand the entry for Batteries, right click on and the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery and select Uninstall - do not uninstall anything else here.

Restart the computer, The driver will install automatically, Check the battery indicator if it will be properly sync.

However that has still not solved my problem.

My Lenovo battery gauge / indicator disappears. I'm on Windows 10. If I right-click the taskbar and remove then re-add it, it comes back. And by disappear I mean it goes invisible but the space it takes up is still on the taskbar. Has anyone else run into this and found a fix? I'm using version 1.0.23.0 of the Lenovo Battery Gauge. I've reinstalled it. I've tried prior version. Nothing seems to fix it.

Hello everyone.

I have the mentioned notebook model and I'm having an issue with the battery gauge on Windows 10.

Once the laptop is charged to 100% and the charger cord is removed, the gauge never goes down. It remains at 100% until the battery is completely drained and the machine powers off entirely (it does not hibernate/sleep as it should at around 5% because it does not acknowledge that the battery is low, it still thinks that it's fully charged, I don't get any sort of battery level warning, it goes from on to off, just like a desktop PC would do if you pulled the plug).

Rebooting does nothing, the battery still displays 100%.

The only thing that appears to help is disabling Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under Device Manager -> Batteries, uninstalling its driver and rebooting. Then the gauge displays whatever percentage of charge is left in the battery correctly.
Unfortunately that does not fix anything, because once I charge the battery back up to 100% the problem manifests anew, the gauge won't drop, I again need to disable the battery control, uninstall its driver and reboot.

Any suggestions on how to go about fixing this will be greatly appreciated.

Can you try the following:

2. In Windows 8, uninstall Lenovo Energy Management and test. If battery stays charging, reinstall Lenovo Energy Management and observe:

So I'm trying desperetly to help my friend fix his laptop, and I'm running into huge issues. My friend is running a Lenovo G580, and cannot connect to the Wi-Fi whatsoever. When you look down at the connections, it shows a wired connection symbol, and it says that there's no connections to be found. Now I know for a fact that this laptop can use wireless, it was used probably a week or two ago by my friends mother. Now, it can't seem to connect to any wireless networks. I've tried just about everything, turning off power saving, deleting the drivers (which we can't do, as the wireless drivers aren't appearing under network adapter), nothing has changed it. The laptop is running Windows 10, and when we go to Network Settings, there's no WiFi tab, there's Proxy, VPN, etc. I really need help with this.

Hello.

I have a Lenovo G580 with Windows 8. I have a weird problem with audio. If the default audio is set as internal speakers and I plug in my headphones the sound just keeps coming from the internal speakers. But if I set the headphones as default, I can switch between the speakers and headphones as I want and there is no problem if only I play music from my computer.

If I try to play something from my browser, however, the sound only comes from the internal speakers and connecting the headphones does nothing. Except (and this is where it gets weird) if I play something from my computer first using the headphones. Then I can play anything from the browser and hear it through the headphones as long as I don't plug them out. If I plug them out, the sound switches back to the internal speakers and trying to plug in the headphones again doesn't do anything. So I have to play something from my computer again with the headphones plugged in and then switch to my browser to again play everything through my headphones.

What's wrong with it? Any way to make it work as it should work?

I have read numerous complaints online about the Lenovo G570 laptop, apparently the hinges are prone to break a few months after use, and whatsmore the customer service teams are supposeduly refusing to acknowledge that the issue is covered under wear and tear.. I am wondering, has this problem been addressed with the release of the G580 laptop? I am no expert, but I assume that the model numbers represent incremental revisions. Does this typically mean component upgrades ie processor or also include fixes such as the hinges of the G570? Any response would be greatly appreciated as I am considering buying the G580 but need a strong quality laptop. I have heard that Lenovo are the best, my friend has one with a metal case and it seems strong, which models are known for their strength/durability? I also require a 15.6inch screen with i5, 4gb ram and 500gb hdd, preferably and usb 3.0.. Thanks,Richard.

A:Is hinge problem fixed in G580?

Hi

Welcome To Lenovo Community

G580 is a good model and mostly all the quality measure have been verified before releasing it to the market

It is a normal trend when every any new mode is released all the parameters are verified by the R&D team
to give customers a WOW experience.

You can Google & go through few of the reviews for G580 to know more about the product and user experiences

Hope This Helps
Cheers!!!

Hi, I have lenovo G580 20157 laptop with windows 8 pro, i found a bios update 62cn97ww on support site but when i restarted my laptop and run the 62cn97ww update it just hangs and does not respond. kept ideal for long time to restart but no response. Any help on this?

A:Lenovo G580 20157 bios 62cn97ww update problem

hi adarsh_savant,

I think you may have concern in this thread,
http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-3000-and-Essential/G580-Bios-update-problem/m-p/1199186/highlight...

Here the suggested solution from neokenchi that helped.

1. Boot into the BIOS by repeatedly tapping F2 on startup

2. In the BIOS, navigate to the Boot Tab and set UEFI to Disabled or Legacy then press F10 to save and exit. When
the computer reboots, check if you still get the errors and/or if you're able to boot into Windows.

3. If same problem, leave the changes that you made on Step 2 and attempt to re-install Windows via a Windows 8 recovery drive or OneKey Recovery button (note that this will wipe the computer to factory settings)

Hope this helps,
Cheers!

Hi there, we have a 9 month old Acer Chromebook 11 model CB3-111Had a black screen problem, and the suggested way on the Acer support website was to do a hard battery reset. As the battery is not user-removable this reset was to be done via a pinhole in the underside of the unit. But I cannot find the pinhole. Does anyone know where it is please?

Hi, guys!

I am in need of some help here. Mine is a Compaq Presario 2100 series Laptop, and I've been using it since it was new (some 3-4 years ago). My battery pack provided me with up to two hours of power, of course, depending on use, and open applicaions, until about two weeks ago...

These past two weeks it has been behaving very strangely: it began marking 100% charged, but provided with about only 30 mintes of power... this week it came down to 10 minutes; tday I couldnot get it past 4 minutes. It doesn't even has the power necessary to hibernate or suspend.

... I understand battery's normal wear and tear, but I use it with a lot of care: I discharge it fully at least once a week, I calibrate it using a Batery Optimizer tool... and I believe this reduction in power capacity is not normal; but rather excesive; I had an older laptop (Texas Instruments) which lasted with me for some 5 and a half years, and the battery could last for an hour and a half by the time I sold it...

The Compaq Presario battery has a power indcator built on it, and it shows 5 leds which lite green, yellow, or remain off, depending on the charge. When fully charged, this gauge will lite in yellow (meaning low charge), on the first led, and green (indicating full charge) on the other 4 leds.

I believe this is an indicatr of the battery stuck on charging maybe only one cell, and leaving the others empty. Another indication for this is that it used to take a long time to charge, an... Read more

A:Laptop Battery Reset/Restart

The only way to reset the "memory" on the battery is to completely drain it.
Unfortunately, draining it once a week has probably worn it out.
Should only drain it when it shows signs of not fully charging.

I have a Toshiba laptop which decided to setup a bios-password , for who knows why..

After many scratches (both on the laptop and on my hands) I managed to disassemble the laptop, to remove the cmos battery.
Now I can see the cmos battery soldered into the laptop. 2 small wires that are connected to the +ve and negative sides of the battery are soldered to the mobo.

Is there an alternative to unsoldering the battery. I don't have any experience with soldering and would like to try safer alternatives, if any, before I have to try unsoldering. Is it possible to shot the battery or do something else that would reset the bios?

Thanks

Oh and I have searched like crazy for 'software' solutions and master passwords but can't find anything that worked.

I recently did a hard reset on my Lumia 640 running 8.1 update 2 due to issues in sync (805a8011 & 8500201D) errors. Right after the reset I noticed usual drop in charge in the battery.. Even when in charging, the battery drops by 1 or 2% which I noticed a few times. I checked the background apps and killed then and did everything possible to keep the usage minimum. But even then the unusual behaviour persists. Could it be some system error during reset? Do I need to perform another reset or what else can I do? Please help with your valuable advice guys.

Hi dlyssy84 See if you can borrow a similar charger for your model (just check that the power input/output is the same). Let it "charge" for a while, then try to run it on battery. A friend once had the same problem on an old Aspire 5315 (I think) latop. The charger had enough power to run the laptop, but not to charge it as well. He bought a universal charger that solved the problem! Obviously, if the problem persists, then the battery will be at fault & will need replacing.

OK, it's a Acer Aspire 9300. Someone brought it to me, they thought the battery had died and bought a new one. So I discovered that Acer doesn't really have anyway to calibrate a battery...either know with a new battery you really shouldn't have to. So the situation is that if I take the new battery out, and unplugged the AC Adapter, help the power button for 20 seconds like the acer website says to...plug in the ac power and its fine. I put in the new battery and press power, nothing. Plug in the ac power and it boots up, but...device manager sees the battery, I try to open power management and acer has this thing called eManagement and stuff that's supposed to help with these things and then I get an error message saying index is out of range...I'm at a loss and the acer website to even email their technical support isn't working. any suggestions would be great.

A:Factory reset but battery drained, probook doesnt log in

Hello, Welcome! Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum. Despite the fact that the battery power drained during recovery, I suspect the recovery partition is still there and intact. You just have to restart the recovery process. Here is how: 1. Please, shutdown the computer using the power button2. Power it on.2.1 As soon as you press the power-on button, imeediately start hitting the Esc button (like tap-tap-tap).This should open a HP Startup Menu which may look similar to this one 3. Choose F11 for System Recovery options. The computer should boot from recovery partition to open you various recovery options. Note, that F11 option will only work if the recovery partition is there (not deleted) and intact. From there, you have prenty of options to choose from. Follow the on-screen instructions . Details here >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00006110 Let me know if this helps. If you experience any issues, do provide details and let me know.

Hey all, I want to do a complete power down of the laptop. Windows has a habit of remembering errors through a reset.
Since I cant remove the battery in this one, how do I complete a power down, yes remove the AC plug, what do I do next to simulate a battery removal.

I remember one model you could push a button through a hole underneath, I cant seem to find one on this model or... I need better glasses to find it hehe.

Also I have a recurring issue with some update, shut down only type, not a restart type, and its always there. I was hoping a complete power down might help fix this.

I have run the windows mr fixit windows updater fixer but no joy....

Thanks in advance for any help, I specially want to Power down without having to unscrew the back and disconnect the battery.

Cheers.

It's so strange. Today when I turned on my laptop, suddenly, there was a message that my battery has problems so the computer might shut down suddenly. I tried different strategies, like uninstalling the battery driver, or letting the computer completely die. When it turned off itself at 6%, I turned it back on, and it was at 2 minutes battery life. Then in a few minutes, it said 4 minutes battery life for 6%. Now, it's passed an hour, and it says 3 minutes, but changes sometimes to 1-4 minutes. The battery meter is completely wrong, and I don't know what to do since it is closing the computer way too early. I'm still not sure what the problem is. Please help me.

Hi all,
I just installed Windows 8.1 on a brand new Samsung 850 Pro (after some trouble) and I'm trying to assess the performance to make sure everything came out all right before I go to all the trouble of reinstalling my applications. Here are my results from AS-SSD benchmark -- they seem lower than the advertised numbers, but maybe that's nothing. Let me know if these are fine and how I can improve (just wanting to make sure things are set up correctly, not wanting to squeeze every number out of this thing).

(I've already double-checked to make sure the drive is aligned, though the default 8.1 installation should have accounted for this if I understand correctly)

I have a high end laptop that gets really hot and I'd like something on screen all the time to see where its at so I know when to manually turn on the fan to cool it off more. I have everest and speed fan but what im looking for is like I said a prog that puts it conveniently on the screen somewhere so I dont have to open those progs all the time or keep them open.

A crude low resolution gauge has appeared on my desktops lower right corner. I have no idea how it got there. I tried to screen shot it with the snip tool but the resulting image shows only whats behind it. Like a vampire, it casts no reflection. I will take a picture with my phone and add it to the thread below. I tried the task manager and shut down all processes that I wasn't sure of. None of them made the gauge go away. When the computer restarts, this gauge is the first thing to load. It loads a moment before even the login screen. It's also the last thing to disappear on shutdown. This thing won't go away with any game, app, full screen vids, nothing.

So i just Put together a brand new computer with a Core 2 Duo E6400 and an Asus P5B-E Mobo. I turned it on for the first time and went into the Bios to monitor temperature. There I discovered the cpu temp was 85 degrees C. All fans are running correctly and the heatsink/fan was installed correctly. I turned the computer off as soon as possible to ponder this problem. I came accros this article in my research... http://www.techimo.com/forum/t178019.html

basically it says that the Mobo was reading the temp on the cpu wrong.

I went back and turned on my computer for about 1 Minute untill the temp hit 80c. then I touched my heatsink and it felt about room temperature maybe a little cooler.

So my question is: Could this board have a screwy temperature gauge, Or is my Mobo overclocking my cpu right outta the box?

Thanks for any help you can contribute.

A:a mobo that automatically overclocks? or just a faulty Temp Gauge

Well, that thread did say that the mobo has temp sensor problems.

btw, I don't think its possible to get your heatsink to below room temp . It is just physically impossible. The reason why it feels that way is because metal is a much better heat conductor than air, and therefore is conducting away your body heat faster than the air around you, thus feeling colder.

Just a little info for you
Core2Duos have a max operating temp of 66C or something like that, the last time I checked. In fact, no Intel chips for PC have a max operating temp of over 70C (maybe a couple) the last time I checked, so if its registering 85C, your CPU is ready to explode or your mobo sensor is stuffed up.

I'm betting your mobo sensor is stuffed up.

If you're still worried, time to get an aftermarket CPU heatink+fan. Then you might be able to do some overclocks as well

A:Battery Problem - Consider replacing your battery

This is apparently a known issue with Windows 7. Some laptops had an older BIOS not made for Windows 7. Some manufacturers have made "patches" available. And some have had luck with the method described in this thread:

Of course, this is assuming the battery isn't indeed in need of replacement. Good luck, let us know if you had success. A Guy

After my friend's laptop wouldn't run on battery power OR charge the battery I tried many "fixes."

Shockingly none worked that I found.

Only one thing worked for me to my surprise.

A last ditch effort was to open up the laptop (sony pcg-81114L) and disconnect the cmos battery for a few minutes to reset the CMOS.

To my surprise, when powered on, the battery instantly showed it was charging AND when removing the power plug the battery POWERS the laptop now! (and I'd thought I was wasting my time.)

Worked with an off brand battery also.

Many times this has saved many computers that have odd "unsolvable" things wrong with them.

Surely someone else has done this also but I haven't seen it posted anywhere to my knowledge.

Hi everyone,

My laptop battery seemed like it had loads of life left in it, but one day it just suddenly stopped working and my laptop started saying "no battery is detected". I contacted the insurance people and they came over to check that the battery was dead and that it wasn't a problem with my laptop itself. They confirmed that I just needed a new battery and sent me a new one. Now with the new battery in it is saying the exact same thing ("no battery is detected"), and only working off power from the charger. If I take the battery out and then put it back in again, the laptop says "plugged in and charging" for a few seconds before switching back to saying "no battery is detected" and completely ignoring the battery.

I know that the problem must be with the laptop and not the battery, so does anybody know how I can fix this problem?

Thanks.

A:Laptop battery problem: "No battery is detected"

Hi and welcome to TSF please try removing the battery and the ac adapter and hold down the power button for 45 secs then try booting with the battery alone

Hello everyone,i dont know why this happens to me. My laptop is lenovo G580 i5 4gbddr3 500gb hdd. It has following config Win10 Win7 Ubuntu14 Default os is win10. I was using windows 7 shutdown lappy and went to play. Now if i try to start it it boots up,lenovo screen appears nothing after that no boot loader screen. Hdd is detected also i removed the battery, bios reset following uefi boot disable. But no success it simply wont boot. Live linux via usb is detected and hdd is also detedcted. Any help. I need in urgent. Thankyou in advance.

A:G580 no os boots

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with lenovo. I'm afraid that you simply need to abandon Lenovo and go with another manufacturer. I have an under warranty G series laptop that lost its boot parameters. I had previously made backup copies of the OS and a 'repair' disc. Neither of which worked. I called Lenovo support and was informed that I must sned them the laptop and only THEY could reinstall the OS. I was also told that any recovery media for my product was 'UNAVAILABLE'. Sad that they cannot simply sned me media to reload it myself. Instead, they must reload it (obviously they have means to do it but simply will not share it with me). I will not ever purchase a Lenovo product and I would advise you to do the same, and advise any friends to do the same. I am doing so and have learned an expensive lesson. I paid more to get Levovo thinking their reputation was one of support, only to discover it is pointless. I should have just bought a cheaper 'non-Lenovo' product. I plan to go on a tirade and post as much information webwide as possible and deter as many as I can before they get screwed over like I did.Sorry you got screwed too,HatingLenoONO

I have a G580 that suddenly won't start at all.  It turned off when my daughter was watching a movie.  I assumed that the battery was dead but I do not know that for sure.  She then plugged it in for the night but it never started again.  When I have it plugged in the light on the front is solid white.  There is no light at all when ONLY on battery.   It does not start when the battery is removed and plugged in.  The system is about 1 1/2 years old and to my knowledge the battery was fine.  I have not seen any charging problems from Windows.  I purchased a new AC adapter but that did not fix it.  Does this seem like a power button problem or a motherboard problem? Thanks,Chris

A:G580 Won't Start

hi chberu,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Please try removing the AC Adapter and Battery
then hold down the Power Button for at least 10 sec.
Then Reconnect only the Ac adapter and see if that will fix it, Then reconnect the battery.

Also try turning it on with the RAM and Harddrive removed and see if that will show any difference on how the unit starts.

If the same problem, even if not Battery is connected, I suggest you contact Lenovo Technical Support for Hardware Assistance or Contact a local tech to check the system board for any issue.

Regards

Hello,I have a brand new G580 with 2X USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 Port. The 2.0 port works fine but the 3.0 ports don't show any reaction. The Harware manager indicates an error for the the USB 3.0 eXtensible host controller but refreshing the driver showes no effect. Any ideas if that is an Hardware- or only a driver problem? Thanks in advanceStefan

A:USB 3.0 ports G580

hi Stefan,

Welcome to the Lenovo Community.

The USB 3.0 port requires a driver for it to work (unlike the USB 2.0 that is plug and play). For Windows 7, install the Intel USB 3.0 Driver v1.0.5.235 - http://tinyurl.com/c7e7lw6

Let me know if this doesn't fix it.

Cheers

I bought a Lenovo g580 model 2689 laptop back in august, and it has now stopped working. Whenever I try to switch it on, lights come on, it makes booting noises, the fan works, but nothing happens, just a black screen. I know the monitor works because it has turned on once since I've had this problem. Please help, I have a presentation next week and can't access my work!

My daughter's G580 shows no signs of life. No lights of any kind. I tried the "remove battery and charger cord, press the power button once per second 10 times and then hold for 30", but it made no difference. I tested the the P/S and it's putting out a solid 20.5v. I removed the keyboard and the keyboard bezel and removed the power jack/USB board and checked continuity through the board. Everything seems okay. Is there anything else I could check? I'd hate to think the motherboard is shot. Thanks!

A:G580 Completely Dead

I have the same problem same laptop model, G580. I did the same troubleshooting pressed the power button 10 times with 1 sec interval in between then pressed and hold for 30 secs.  Somehow the cpu fan starts to run for like 3 secs then went off. Now Im back again with the same problem, no response at all.

I was having hard disk issues with my G580, so I decided to back up my files and restore it to its factory settings using OneKey. The hard disk issues must have affected OneKey because the restoration gets stuck at 49%. I need the backup.wsi so I can put it on a flash drive and restore it from there. Thanks in advance.

A:Need backup.wsi for Windows 8.1 (G580)

Hi Jakesloan15,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

I?m sorry to hear that the OKR (One Key Recovery) is getting stuck at 49% while performing backup. If the computer is booting to windows the only available option to backup the OS (Operating System) installed in the computer is by creating the Recovery Media in a USB Flash drive. Below are the steps for the same:

How to Create a USB Recovery Drive and Use it to Recover Windows 8/8.1?

Do post us back for further queries.

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me with this.
My Levono G580 has been working ok but tried to turn on this morning and nothing happened. I've just got home and tried again but still nothing.
I've had a look on a few sites after googling my issue but the only thing I could find is to press the power 10 times and hold it in on the last press for 30 seconds or to remove the battery and try with just the psu but nothing.
Any ideas guys?
Thanks
