I use mozilla firefox, and I've been getting lots of pop ups.

I run kaspersky antivirus scans regularily, and it constantly tells me my computer is at risk, but doesn't seem to be able to fix it.

I just ran vundufix and it didn't find anything.

Hi, my name's Katie and I'm having major virus/spyware,adware,malware removal issues! I

have a lot of different things going on here, and can't make any sense of it. I tried

following other people's solved threads, but they didn't solve my issues, so I guess I need

personalized help. I have Windows security running (well, I usually do when it's working

properly,) and I run Ad-Aware and Spybot regularly, but it appears that they cannot solve

my issue. Anyway, here's a list of things that have been happening to my computer since the

virus happened...

1. I KNOW the virus was contracted in AIM. An IM came in from a friend with only a link. It

didn't look suspicious to me, so I clicked it, and all of a sudden I had IMEd everyone in

my buddy list the link, and received about a million IMs back (didn't have time to read

them before My Computer's virtual memory ran out and crashed AIM on me.

2.When the computer starts up, sometimes a default background appears before the logon

screen with the user accounts appears.

3.After logon, the same thing in general happens every time. Spybot comes up with a bunch

of messages saying that there is a registry change to my homepage or something else

happening. I deny it, and it denies it over and over again to seemingly no avail. A .txt

file appears on the desktop. I have never opened this file, don't know what it is, and

delete it every time. My homepage is con... Read more

Hello,

ComboFix is frequently updated.

Please delete your existing version. Grab a new copy from one of the links below.

This machine does not have the Windows XP Recovery Console installed.

The Windows recovery console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery mode that allows us to help you in the case that your computer has a problem after an attempted removal of malware.

With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before beginning the fix, read this post completely. If there's anything that you do not understand, kindly ask your questions before proceeding.

It is IMPORTANT that you don't miss a step & perform everything in the correct order/sequence.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please do this:
Download ComboFix from one of these locations:

Link 1
Link 2
Link 3

* IMPORTANT !!! Place combofix.exe on your Desktop

Go to Microsoft's website => http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994
Select the download that's appropriate for your Operating System

For you, it would be:

Problems Encountered

1) Windows Installation : Various files cannot be copied and/or not copied correctly. Giving blue screen of [enter] retry, [esc] skip or F3 to abort installation. Files constantly failing to copy : cyycoins or something, lots of .chm files, too many to mention. Curious thing is, same problems for both optical drives and both HDDs, varying both for many installations.

Eventually I held down [enter] and the files went in, well some didn't but Windows booted fine.

2) Warhammer Dawn of War : Winter Assault. wh40k.cab is corrupt. Changed optical drives during installtion, installed fine. Could be hardware issue with my cdrom?

3) Same game, when playing will crash to desktop. No error message sometimes, no indication of crash (no freezing or warning sounds or stuttering, just flat out BOOM, .exe gone. Sometimes error message appears to send error report, sometimes doesn't. Occurs while under load (heavy gameplay) and while idle (like leaving it in menu for ages. Go away to get food, come back game gone, only desktop)
I thought this could again be CDROM issue, with the copy protection not keeping th... Read more

Hello Bleepers! You have helped me in the past and I am back. This time, this is my mom's computer and she didn't have a firewall (until now) and so this thing was infected beyond anything I have seen!I will be posting the log below, but first let me tell you a few things. I did follow the preparation instructions as best as I could, however, there were certain things I could not do.Ad-Aware:I kept running Ad-Aware and rebooting and it kept finding 50+ new critical items every time. I then disconnected the internet access to the computer and ran it. This way I got it down to 2 entries it said it couldn't removed and it couldn't remove them even after restarting.Spybot:A similar thing happened with Spybot, except I connected to the internet only to download the software and updates and disconnected to do the scan and fixes. Spybot also said it couldn't fix certain items, EVEN AFTER doing it during rebooting.I then ran HouseCall, Bit Defender and Avert Stinger (Panda was taking too long and I wasn't sure if it was stalled). Then, I installed ZoneAlarm and Finally ran HijackThis.Hopefully you can help me get this thing cleaned up and it top shape soon! A:Infected By Lots Of Spyware. Get Lots Of Popup Windows!

Hello,We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1 for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.Click here to get Service Pack 1Warning: You must only update to Service Pack 1, and not Service Pack 2. Doing this before your computer is clean can cause Windows to become unstable. We will update to SP2 after the log is clean. After you have updated your computer to SP1, please restart your computer and post a new HJT log.

In Bit Defender, do a Live Update of your virus and software definitions. That should update you to the latest version. Or post to their forum, you will get a better response then in this general Microsoft Forum. or better yet, uninstall it and use Avast Free version and or Microsoft Security Essentials.

Hello,* Download Combofix to your desktop.Doubleclick combofix.exeFollow the prompts.Don't click on the window while the fix is running, because that will cause your system to hang. When finished and after reboot (in case it asks to reboot), combofix will open again to gather the necessary information for the log. This may take a bit. When done, Combofix will close and a log should open, combofix.txt. Post the contents of this log in your next reply together with a new hijackthislog.Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt - unless I ask you to.

Hi,

I sure need help  --- I do not know how to deal with viruses, trojans, spyware, etc.

My husband and I were traveling. We had to use public Wifi places to check our email on our laptop. when we got home and checked our email accounts on our laptops, we found some really weird looking email messages. I 'think' my husband opened one that had his name in the Subject line, but we deleted all he other ones that looked strange. We did not open those emails, just deleted them.

Now all 3 of our computers are doing really weird things. I have run scan after scan after scan, both downloaded one and online ones. Sometimes they find problems and fix them. sometimes the scans find nothing. Yet our problems just seem to be getting worse and worse. I DESPERATELY need a lot of help.

I know it would be very confusing to try to work on all 3 of our computers at once so maybe we can start with my husband's desktop computer.

I am currently running Avast on it and it has been running for hours. It is find TONS of things like these ----

"...is infected by win32:Funweb-K [Pup}"

"...is infected by JS: ScriptIP-inf [Trj}

etc, etc, etc.

I have very little knowledge of how to fix a computer problem and no idea what to do. And I have absolutely NO idea how our desktops became infected from our lap top.

Is anyone willing to help me? I know it is bad and will probably take a long time to fix, but I need help... Read more

A:Help PLEASE my computer is slow and i get lots and lots of popups

Ok, I have lots of XP problems:

Can't open My computer from the desktop, the computer just locks up whilst attempting to open it, showing me the animated torch, saying it is looking for files.

The computer is running really slow, locking up and crashing programs for no apparent reason.

Cant access the drop down box (shortcut key F4) in windows explorer/applications/anywhere.

Internet explorer refuses to do anything if I type a web address without the http:// into the address box. It worked before, but now it isn't for some reason.

Finally, when I restart windows, it locks up for anything up to 5 minutes when it comes back up. The windows bar with the start button on, when I pass my mouse over it, the pointer turns to an hourglass and I am unable to do anything unti it sorts itself out.

I have tried running several anti virus programs, including AVG, Mcafee and Norton. Only AVG came up with a virus, 'Dialler'. I cleared this and it didn't make any difference. I alos tried system restore from several points, but each time it told me that it was unable to restore.

If ANYONE can give me any help at all, I would be extremely grateful.

Yours,

Wayne Donnelly.

My Dell Inspiron 530S running Vista (32-bit) Ultima has the very annoying habit of having a problem loadingb my user profile after it have been left logged into any other user (wife, or one of several daughters) Before I understood what the problem was I would simply shutdown and re-boot and I would seem to be back to normal. However, as I was trying to clean up the hard drive the other day, I noticed that the User director have 30+ extra profiles in it! They are in the form of TEMP.%computername%.000 thru TEMP.%computername%.030 - plus a few others that relate to a 'repair' of one my daughter's directory. I suspect that repair was faulty/incomplete but she seems happy with the directories she can access.
Questions:
1.) Why is it doing this? I have read other logon failure threads and have looked at the profile entries in REGEDIT
2.) Why doesn't takeown command allow me to get rid of all the excess USERS directory entries?

I just had my computer fixed in another thread not too long ago. However, I have a new problem and I don't know the cause or root of it. Lots and lots of pop up ad windows open at once randomly. Please help.

Thank you.

A:lots and lots of pop up ad windows open at once

If you haven't already, download, install, update immediately, then run AdawareSE. Make sure to customize the settings in Ad-aware for better scan results.

Then download, install, update immediately then run Spybot S&D.

Have each fix whatever problems they may find.

Download CWShredder at http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/CWShredder.sfx.exe and run it. Uncompress the file and run it. Click on 'I Agree' button if you agree with it. Click on 'Fix' (it will automatically fix anything it finds for you) and OK. If it asks if you want to delete a certain random file, choose No and post that filename here. Let it finish the scan and then hit Next and Exit.

Run a scan using Panda ActiveScan . Be sure to select any AutoClean Feature. Post the log from the Panda scan here.

Then get HijackThis . This program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Run the scan, save the log, but do not fix anything yet. Many files it finds are harmless, and required for your system to operate.

Post your log here

Hello.... My worst nightmare just happened.... I think I've lost 100gb of data......
Ok here is how it happened: I have a Western Digital 200gb hard drive, on a 1200mhz cpu, so I needed somthing for my disk space barrier. So I got the latest LifeGuard Tools from the official WD homepage.... everything worked fine, untill yesterday, then I started getting the messages of a corrupt file or directory, and windows advised me to use scandisk... Because I have winXP I had to reboot the computer to run scandisk.

Well It looked like scandisk fixed something, but the files were gone... that was just a small problem because these were just 6 mp3's and I had a backup of them....

But this morning I couldn't open my hard drive (its an extra drive, the windows is on another drive so it works fine) so I rebooted again and ran scandisk..... and when it was done I could open the drive, but it was empty...... over 100gb of data gone....
And I don't have bakup for all of it (about 50%)....

Are my files gone, or is it possible to recover them... And is there any solution for this problem, or is this disk not safe?

Please help!!

Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.
Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix and remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
Remember to re-enable the protection again afterwards before connecting to the Internet.

Double click SDFix.exe and choose Install to extract it to its own folder on the Desktop. Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
Choose your usual account.

Open the c:\SDFix folder and double click RunThis.cmd to start the script.
Type Y to begin the script.
It will remove the Trojan Services then make some repairs to the registry and prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
Your system will take longer that normal to restart as the fixtool will be running and removing files.
When the desktop loads the Fixtool will complete the remo... Read more

I am getting these warnings in the event viewer for about 2 days, now seems that these errors have stopped.

Look at the photo, the processor ID is 7,0,1,6.

Why i am getting those warnings ? I am using windows 8, latest updates, and drivers.

Also my PC is i7 3770k 4.5Ghz (multiplier) 1.21V PLL 1.6V, latest BIOS installed.

I tested my CPU in intel burn test, the test passed, i am using this OC profile since i bought the rig, back in march 2012, and i didn't had a single problem. No bsod, no crash in games, no shutdown, nothing.

Also, i have tested my ram (8gb black dragon geil 1866Mhz XMP) tested them on memtest bootable 4.20V and the test passed, no errors. Also, i don't have any error while using the PC normal, no crashes, bsod, etc.

So, can anyone tell me what is that WHEA-Logger ?

A:WHEA-Logger Event ID 19

The WHEA error is a hardware error reported by the CPU.
To start, remove the overclock and see if the error persists.

Leave the overclock off while troubleshooting. Feel free to resume it once the system has stabilized.
Then start with these free diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Please provide this information so we can provide a more complete analysis (even though you're not having BSOD's): https://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...tructions.html

Also, please:
- open Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

Yesterday I started to get freeze on my computer mainly while playing video game or doing things related to video hardware.

I'm suspecting a graphic card failures here, however, I can still play some games and it will work well under severe conditions and sometimes the computer just freeze up, everything locked.

I get this message : whea-logger event 18 in the windows event viewers.

Here are the minidump-file:

I have not use the forum in a long time, hopefully it still work that ways. Thanks in advance.

Event Viewer messages that I see in repetition with various processos ID :

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error
Processor ID: 0

The details view of this entry contains further information.

I must mention that the freeze end up with BSOD report but there is no BSOD screen.

A:whea-logger event 18

I'm on a portable so I can't check your system info right now.
Traditionally a WHEA error is a hardware level error though.
Meaning something is wrong physically with a component in the computer.

Hopefully someone on a actual computer will drop by here for you.

This is an error that your CPU reports to Windows. They're difficult to interpret, and the results of the interpretation aren't very helpful.

A:WHEA-Logger Error 19

Your error suggests that your computer components are overheating. Maybe an overclocked competent was damaged and can now not cool itself properly. Can you go into the BIOS or use some sort of program that will tell you the tempetures of components inside your PC and post them? Also please attach a system information file or a DxDiag file so I know what the system is. go HERE for info on how to make a system info file.

UPDATE: I really need to go to bed and will continue helping you tomorrow.

My HP 9608 laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium has 2-3 WHEA Logger errors showing in the event log on every bootup - and it freezes at bootup about 1 in 10-15 bootups. Could this be connected? What can I do about this WHEA Logger error - the event log says "a corrected hardware error occured"; error source = corrected machine check; error type is either: TLB error or Memory Hierarchy Error. Anyone have suggestions for what I should do?

Found this just after turning on PC this morning. I tried searching on my own but was way over my head & a good share of results talked of BSOD but I've not had them. I'm wondering what, if any, special scan might reveal something?
Thank you.

A:How do I investigate WHEA-Logger?

I assume you are talking about the computer listed in your system specs. I do not know what emachines allow you to adjust in BIOS. But, I would first go to bios and look at your ram and sata controller. Then set optimized defaults, set your ram frequency, timings and voltage to manufacturers specs, and set the sata controller to what it is now then set the current boot order, save and exit. Once booted into Windows open an elevated command prompt (click the start button, tupe cmd, right click the cmd entry and select run as administrator) When the window opens copy/paste this command in the Window sfc /scannow That will check for and attempt to repair any missing or corrupted system files.
See option Two of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker. There are several tests that can be run, but start out with those.
Other tests are RAM - Test with Memtest86+
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95 which I don't know would be a good idea with an emachines as it creates excessive heat.

Hello,  I keep getting the following error message: A corrected hardware error has occurred. There was no effect I'm getting the message continuosly. Is there any solution? Is there any update that can help? I saw a few same post here with same models, if this a known issue I would like to know the exact way to solve this issue. Thank You

Its a hardware issue, software or drivers may not fix it, is it under Warranty? You can try reinstalling all the chipset drives found at link below.  http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-Gaming-15-ak000-Notebook/8610971/model/8...

Okay this is my first time posting, I think I'm doing it correctly. I've gone through the steps at this location: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic44306.html

CPU: i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz
MB: MSi X-58 PRO-E
RAM: 3x CORSAIR 2GB 1600MHZ
GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 260
PSU: Rosewill 1000W
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise

-Problem-
When running BF3, about 30-45 minutes in, it all just freezes, no force restart or input recognition. giving about 2 minutes on this idle screen, nothing changes, need to hard reset.

Attempts to fix as per the above link:

1. Updated nVidia, then to Beta, then back to March drivers, same problem recreated itself each time, no difference.

2. Event log shows the title of this thread multiple times at almost every crash.

3. I have a minidump.

4. Installed speedfan, and all voltages are fine

5. first thing I thought was overheating, relocated case, more fans, temps not going above 60c for intense BF3 playing. (before crashing, my system would get to 75 sometimes for short periods without problems)

6. RE the recent changes, I checked the system restore and the points I have wouldn't help, there aren't any before the crashing began (about a week ago)

6(again). I ran Memtest like the instructions say, took quite awhile, zero faults. (I was half asleep, my girlfriend read the monitor and said something close to that)

-Bottom Line-

I hope I didn't miss anything. I'm doing the 0 page allocation and defrag right now, but I d... Read more

When I game (WoW, BF BC2, CoD MW2, L4D2, etc), my computer crashes. It could take 10min into it, or an hour. It doesn't give a BSOD, which is weird (because I have the setting set to not restart on system failure), but it goes black, or a screen with white lines horizontally. I watch my temps, volts, and fan speeds and nothing is out of the ordinary. Everything is on auto/default, as in i'm NOT overclocking. Here are the links to the components:

Hi all, first time poster on here - after all my years online I can't believe I've not come across this site before, but when searching for solutions to my current problem (explained below) I found myself here, so here goes:

I've just performed a clean re-install of Windows 7 on my laptop, and it seems to be running well but I would like to know what these entries are which I am seeing in the Event Viewer:

WHEA-LOGGER (event 18)

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Unknown Error
Processor ID: 1

The details view of this entry contains further information.

I have seen a few of these when searching on this site but none relating to the above. What is this error actually telling me? Seeing as everything seems to be running normally, then I am confused by this.

I'm wondering if it was anything to do with overheating? This laptop (Acer Aspire 7520) gets VERY hot and the fan seems to be going constantly. My temps aren't great, but it's my GPU temperature which is alarming:

I have had no freeze-ups and the system seems to be running at a decent speed but ideally I want to get these temperatures down so the unit is not so hot (I am even using one of those laptop stands with a built-in fan, but it appears to make little difference) as who knows, maybe it would run even faster if it was not so hot?

I've had the back cover off and the fan is clearly visible, but also ... Read more

A:WHEA-Logger events - why am I getting these? Also, heat issues

High temps on most of the stuff - but it's not critically high.
If you live in a house without air conditioning in Norfolk, VA, USA this is probably normal due to the high temps and humidity at this time of year. If it's Norfolk in the UK, then that probably isn't the case.

Try aiming a house fan into the open case to see if that brings the temps down. If it does, then you'll need more work on airflow and fans within your case. A long time ago I got a 3? C decrease by putting a blowhole and fan in the top of my case.

The WHEA-Logger error is mentioning a Machine Check Exception. This is an error that's transmitted by your CPU to Windows. They're not easy to debug, but you can figure them out. Have a look at this post for some things to check: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...-what-try.html

Also, use this link to check your software and hardware for compatibility issues: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...s/default.aspx

Hi,

What i'm experiencing are random reboots (it happened 4 times), BUT while i was navigating in google maps, or watching a video on Youtube. Problem started to happen since the case was swapped by a tech to fit my Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-x, which is pretty big...

I did several tests, and all went fine (memtest86+ 3 passes; Seagate HD diagnostics; Sfc/scannow). I didn't experience any problems during gaming.

Hello

I hope you guys can help me fix this. Sorry for the long story but I want you to know everything that happened.

So a couple of months ago I custom build a new pc. Everything went fine, no problems during the build and no problems installing all the programs I needed. Then after a about 3 weeks my pc rebooted without warning while playing a game. I had no idea what happened. After that it kept happening when I played games, sometime after hours of playing and sometimes within a minute. Then it started happening when I was browsing the internet or checking my mails...

I did some research and used prime95 to see if there was a problem with my cpu, I ran it for about 4 hours without any problems.
Next I tried testing my GPU (because it happened mostly while playing games). I used Furmark for about 3 hours, also without any problems.
Last I tested the RAM. I used memtest 86+ also for about 3 hours, and you guest it, without any problems.

I had no idea what was going on.
The holiday season started and I want home, took my pc with me. when i got home I opened him up and redid my cable management, so it wasn't all over the place. I installed my pc at home and fired it up. A day went by without reboots, that day became weeks... I thought the problem was fixed! (I thought : maybe there was a loose cable that caused the reboots)

I totally forgot about the problem since it never happened anymore. Then I got a corsair H60 for Christmas, I installed it and everything worked pe... Read more

Hi bnt welcome to SF .

Sudden restarts such as these are usually an electrical issue meaning the PSU
is the main culprit in this regard.
Just noting, your motherboard isn't really built for overclocking, your CPU's stock wattage is 125W
which is your motherboard's maximum rated capacity.
Have you done so for any prolonged amount of time?

What is the make, model and age of your PSU?
Fill out this form and post back the result:

Now for the bugchecks they are a generic BUS error but the WHEA logger event somewhat helps
in narrowing it down a bit.

Since I updated Windows 10 I have noticed a large number of warnings been generated in the Event log (34 in 1 hour)

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)

Bus Device:Function 0x0:0x1C:0x4
Vendor ID Device ID 0x8086:0x9D14
Class Code: 0x30400

This seems to indicate a problem with the Intel PCI express root port. I've tried updating the relevant drivers but I still get the warnings.
I have a Toshiba Satellite P50-C-18L and it seems to be working OK.

Has anyone seen this before? Or know how to fix it?

This is the first game I'm trying in Windows 7 (it's the RTM). The settings are maxed. After a while it crashes on a black screen, with "Out of range" message on the monitor sometimes.
The only way I got the game working was by installing the DirectX 9 that came on the DVD, otherwise the game kept on telling me it misses some D3D9 stuff. This worried me, but Dxdiag seems to report DirectX 11 fully functional.
Also, my videocard (it's speeds are stock) is heating very much with this game (88-90 Celsius), but this should be just fine with HD 4850. The fan also spins like crazy, in XP it never raised above 8700 rpm (which should be ok as far as I know), in this game + Win 7 it's going into 11000...
The CPU, a stock E7200 (2533 MHz) also heats up a lot - 55 Celsius (compared to other games in XP that I played), even if it never goes past 75% usage. Unreal (last ver.) engine games use it 100% and it stays on 50 Celsius. The CPU fan also spins like crazy for a game, 2200 rpm. In XP it never got past 1900 rpm in games, only in testing/benchmarking.
I tested the CPU (and memory) stability with Linpack (57-60 Celsius max), OCCT, and Everest too. The values I mention come from .csv files Everest is logging. The system is stable under the stress tests. As a matter of fact, the Wolfenstein gave my Win 7 the only BSODs and crashes.
Thank you for your help.

The same thing happens to me quite oftenly, and only when I play Wolfenstein 09. It really heats up my GPU and most of the time my PC ends crashing in a BSOD. I don't know what this game does to stress the computer that hard, no other game does it. I do hope they release a patch for it, to make it playable. It's a pity really. I even bought an additional case cooler, but not even that helped in the end

This crash started out of the blue for no apparent reason. I generally find that leaving one side of my case open helps to keep my PC cooler than when the case is closed and sealed. I have the case closed atm. I did have a noisy PSU which was slightly respositioned but other than this I am sure nothing else could be the cause. The only thing I did with the PSU was to adjust the casing screws so it no longer vibrated. And I do have my doubts about the PSU being at fault here! This error/crash has only showed up months later after adjusting the PSU. If the problem consists and no one here is able to help resolve this then I will go back to Vista Ultimate and see if the problems showup there. Also FYI this PC has never had nor ever will be overclocked!

Good morning,

my newly built rig is giving me some headache. When running idle on windows desktop, everything seems to be fine. When playing a game (tried Diablo 3, Crysis 2, League of Legends, Mass Effect 3), the game will crash after a short but random time (within a few minutes), always throwing an application error.

When I look at the event log, I see a lot of WHEA-Logger events, all with ID 19 and "Internal Parity error". Error details are almost always the same. Most of the times it's core 0, I had a few occurences of core 4, most of the errors have the MciStat of the first event log, I found one or two entries of the second type.

I updated the mainboard bios, drivers should all be up to date.

Components:
Intel Core i5-3570k with stock cooler
G.E.I.L DDR3-1600 16GB (2x8GB)
Asus P8Z77M Pro
Zotac GeForce 680 GTX
Samsung 830 Series SSD 128 GB
Hitachi 2TB HDD
LG BD-Drive
beQuiet 580W PSU

Any ideas or hints? My first guess would be the processor being defect...

Thanks,
Daniel

Also, will not address WeatherBug or Daily Horoscope here, but they can cause other spyware issues and probably should be uninstalled.

Hi! I've had a really bad BSOD problem for a week or two now. I was hoping I would be able to figure it out on my own but I cannot :|. So I was hoping I could post some information and a few minidumps and possibly receive some help?

Ok here goes... the BSODs are random, they can happen even when my pc is idle, though under stress(movies/games) they will happen most frequently. The problem is always 'DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL' and each crash is 'probably caused' by usually a different driver each time.

System info:
Motherboard Name Asus K8N8X-LA PES(nforce3 150)
CPU Type AMD Athlon 64, 2200 MHz (10 x 220) 3400+
512 DDR SDRAM PC2700
Geforce FX 5200 128
Dynex 400W PS

Attaching a few minidumps in case anyone wants to look at them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello romulox

I think this could be faulty RAM

If you have more than one stick of RAM (256MB or more) swap them over or take one out and try again with only stick #1. If it does not help or makes things worse swap the sticks and try again with only stick #2. This will identify if you have a bad stick.

OR
You can put either of these free programs on a floppy and test the RAM. Let them run for hours to do many passes if you can

Ok, Here goes...

I have a windows XP Home computer which i got about mid 2006 and basically ever since I got it I have been having problems starting up. It originally worked properly for a few months then the problems began.....

First it would not do anything whilst on the windows loading screen (progress bar etc worked but it got stuck on that screen and wouldn't advance), the HDD light would blink for a while and then it would just sit there. Usually i would restart until quite a while later I discovered that if i left it for long enough (about 5-10 minutes) it would eventually load. I have also performed several reformats in this time and the problem would disappear for a while then show its ugly face again. It wouldn't do this every time but a large majority of the time it would.

Now however, it does not do this, instead, it would go through the loading screen, finish that, and the screen would go blank (no signal detected etc) and then it wouldn't do anything at all, I have left it sitting there for about an hour once to see if eventually would work but it didn't. So to fix this I have to restart the computer and it would come up with the screen asking me if i want to use safe mode and usually i would either choose the Last known good configuration or start up windows normally, occasionally i would go in safe mode and restart from there and it would usually work but not always. I usually have to repeat this process several times for it to work. Whi... Read more

0x00000024 - NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM

It means that there are issues with NTFS file system structure on your hard disk (probably on OS partition), open command prompt with Administrator Account and type Chkdsk /r, it will find and repair such issues.

However, I suggest that you download diagnostic tool from your hard drive manufacturer's site and thoroughly test your HDD. Also once you have done that, and there are still BSODs please attach minidumps with your next post.

Okay, the problem did not start recently.

i am having this problem since almost a year ago when i was running xp, but it was very rare and over the recent few months the occurances have multiplied to a extreme amount.

i get several different form of system hangs, followed sometimes by BSOD's

1. The PC may just freeze forever(Sometimes followed by a BSOD)
2. The PC freezes and gives off a BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ sound on the voice output.(most frequent of the three)(Sometimes followed by a BSOD)
3. A clear BSOD just pops up

I downloaded whocrashed and it says all sorts of different causes, but the common cause is the clock interrupt watchdog timeout not recieved during allocated time.

This is getting more and more frequent, 2 days ago i got it about every 30 minutes, now im lucky if 10-15 mins dont pass by with me having to restart.

This is ofcourse more frequent while playing video games or watching media, but it is so common that video games are just unplayable.

I have been experiencing a number of crashes since I installed Windows 7. I tried to teach my self a little about debugging but not enough it seems to solve my problems. The causes of the crash seem to be "irq not less or equal" with different culprits every time. I have checked to make sure that all my drivers are up to date and I believe they are. I have a attached the dump files (4 crashed today, by far the most yet) and I would be grateful if someone with more experience could help me fix this problem. Hey.

Update your chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer and completely uninstall Norton.
Also, you have errors related to vpcnfltr.sys and Rt86win7.sys. So uninstall any Virtualization software too along with those drivers.

Or if you're attempting to install Virtualization software, disable the network adapter(s) while doing so. Then re-enable after.

Let us know how it goes.

Last week my computer died on me. I thought the Power supply was the culprit unfortunately it had also fried the motherboard so I replaced that, the cpu and memory. New settings can be seen in the system specs. With the new system I started to get a lot of BSOD's some of them were the 'irql no les or equal' and the 'bad spooler header'. Initially I suspected bad drivers or corrupted files. So I reinstalled windows and didn't install any drivers. I'm still getting BSOD's The last 3 were with BCcode 100007e, 1e and 50. I'll Upload the last few minidumps. Also I ran a Memtest 86 it didn't register any faults with the memory.
I could really use some help with figuring out what's wrong with my poor pc.

I don`t think there is anything bad in your log.

Try testing the RAM
If you have more than one stick of RAM (256MB or more) swap them over or take one out and try again with only stick #1. If it does not help or makes things worse swap the sticks and try again with only stick #2. This will identify if you have a bad stick.

Okay so up until a week ago my PC was working fine, but the last few days I have started get ALOT of blue screen errors mainly when I am playing DayZ Mod. I built my computer myself, and as I said before it was fine until a few days ago. So, I got sick of all the errors and decided to reinstall windows this morning, then finished install all of the windows updates and stuff but I just got another BSOD before.. How can I find out what is causing this and stop it!? It's really, really annoying not being able to do anything without it crashing 20 times. Thanks.

Note: When browsing the internet everything seems to go fine, but it's as soon as I start playing dayz. Some of the errors that I have received are;

- Attempted execute of no execute memory
- Clock watchdog time-out
- System service exception

Hey everyone,

I am working on a friends computer, and when I start it up I get all sorts of different BSOD's. One of them is Memory Management, another is IRQ_Less_Than..., and a few others. I get these when I boot into normal mode, and when I boot into safe mode the computer seems to work for a while, but then just randomly restarts, no BSOD. Im thinking of doing a sys restore, but really don't want to do that b/c of the huge downtime and loss of programs factor *already saved the data*. Is this a hardware issue caused by bad RAM as I have read online, or is it a software issue caused by corrupt files as I have read online as well?

Thanks

I bought a computer in october and after about a month it started with the BSOD's. So I started trying to learn about computers and see if there was something I could do. Because i bought it in the mail and I didnt just want to send it first thing. Anyway after a couple of month I was getting nowhere so I sent it back. They said it was a problem with disc and GPU and aslo RAM's. So the claim they replaced them. One month later my computer was back here and it worked fine for a week or so then the BSOD started again

here is dump files

Hello,

It does seem as if this is a hardware problem; it may be motherboard, CPU, power supply, or even a second batch of bad RAM.

I suggest you run your own hardware diagnostics.

Run Memtest86 overnight: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Run Prime95, all 3 tests (Blend, Small and Large FFTs): http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

Just to rule out the possibility of software, run driver verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

I've been getting lots of bsod, i just reinstalled window 7 again and still get bsod.

I attached the files. And

Is Windows 7 . . . - x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? X64

the original installed OS on the system? Nope

an OEM or full retail version? I got the os from my college - OEM = came pre-installed on system - Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer -

What is the age of system (hardware)? A year i believe, self build. -
What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Yes.

A:Lots of bsod

Hi namvu9x.

STOP 0x00000019: BAD_POOL_HEADER
Usual causes: Device driver
STOP 0x0000003B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory

Your latest dump file lists memory_corruption as the probable cause.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.

As a Priority:

Not sure BSOD's are showing in the rar I attached, one was caused by "overclocking" but BIOS defaults to 2% OC, tried with 0% OC and still BSOD's with the same MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION (whatever the code is)...

My laptop isn't even a year old yet but for the past two months or so it keeps crashing randomly, no matter what programme/s I'm running. Sometimes it might crash say 2 times a day and other days it crashes about 30 times, sometimes one crash after another. Each time it crashes it restarts and windows error recovery comes up asking me what mode I want to start it in. I've tried starting it in safe mode etc and running antivirus scans, but nothing has been found. Here's what I've done so far:

1. Checked the admin event log, determined this is the error possibly causing the crash:

Transaction Type: N/A
Processor Participation: N/A

2. Checked for online help from windows, it comes up with nothing and tells me that 'No results were found for your query' when I click the online help link that comes with the error.

3. Checked for overheating, but temps. all appear okay and fan is running fine.

4. Updated all of my drivers as much as possible.

Hi! I been having issues with this computer since day 1. I used a combination of spare parts from a gutted computer and a new mobo. I put everything together and things worked fine. For the most part, I know everything worked when it was on Windows XP from the gutted computer. I hooked everything up to a new GB mobo and there seemed to be no problems.

Fast forward to the Win 7 x64.... I have had nothing but BSOD on multiple occassions ranging from doing nothing to browsing the net to gaming. I have recently uninstalled AVG and Zipgenius and replaced them with Avira and 7zip.

I'm at the point where I want to chuck it out the window. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there everybody!
Lately I had many BSODs and I do not know why is that. So I included my dump memories. BSODs happened while playing games, watching films even while doing nothing.
I have everything installed the same way as my last PC and there were none BSODs so I am really helpless at this poin.
Thanks for the help and advices

A:Lots of BSOD problems lately

Hello Johnny006, welcome to Seven Forums. You have quite a few dump files. I looked through most of them. Almost every error was a different big check and most were listed as different causes. Most of the time if you get those type of results, the problem lies in your memory or system files have been tampered with or corrupted. What I found the closer to the first one is what could be the real problem

Computer was working fine, went out of the country for a month and came back to loads of BSoD issues. I've done everything like updating drivers, rolling back display drivers, using DDU to remove graphics drivers and updated them, and also run MemTest+ for 8 rounds (which took aaaaaages) with no issues.

I was getting BSoD issues with the computer just sitting there, but now it seems to mostly be when loading and using Adobe Lightroom, although it does still happen randomly too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

my friend have some problems with keyloggers. He cannot even open techguy forum to post his problem so I'm doing this for him..
IE was crashed few times, then MSN, then windows.. NOD32 didn't found anything.. But Kasperski did. He formatted his laptop, updated windows from sp2 to sp3.. Downloaded needed drivers from HP's site. But problem was there again. Since then kaspersky is telling that multiple keyloggers are detected. He installed SAS and didn't found anything. This morning he had BSOD problem repeatedly. Somehow he managed to fix that. And he's back again to SP2.. But now again he's having problems with keyloggers.. Number of those things is growing very fast.. When I started to write this post he had only first 2 but now that number is 5.. MSN, IE, still crashing down.. Hello All,

Over the past couple of days, which seems totally out of the blue (no pun intended), I have been getting lots of crashes, beeping from my PC and an occasional Blue Screen of Death. I have no idea what is causing this, but I end up restarting my PC about 25 times a day at the minimum because of it.

The latest BSOD I got stated the following:

Driver Irql Less or Equal

stop: 0x0000000A
(0xFFFFFFFE 0X00000002 0X00000000 0X804F47E)

I don't know really what to specify here, but request anything and I will supply the information needed.

Personally, I think this could be a ram related problem or possibly something to do with either my hardware or drivers. Let me know what I need to do to make this better.

A:Lots of crashes, BSOD(s), more

Update: I ran Memtest86 and there were no errors present.

What is going wrong?

Hi, I'm currently running on a two month old, custom made computer.

Computer Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Mobo: ASUS PX58D Premium
Ram: Muskin Enhanced Blackline 3x2gb PC 12800
CPU: Intel i7 3.07ghz
PSU: Corsair Professional 850W
Video: HD Radeon Sapphire 6970
Antivirus: Kaspersky Internet Security 2011
My problems started toward the end of February, when my former AV (Trend Micro) Diagnosed "700 potential threats" on my computer, however, it didn't seem to take any measures to quarantine the threats on my computer. I started getting random BSOD's. So I thought reinstalling windows and wiping away my HDD would help things but the problem didn't seem to go away. I'm getting an average of around five blue screens a day..

I've gotten these error codes so far:

1) SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
2) MEMORY-MANAGEMENT
3) ATTEMPT TO WRITE ON READ-ONLY FILE
4) PAGE FAULT IN NON-PAGED AREA
5) UDFS_FILE_SYSTEM
6) IQRL_NOT_REAL
7) BAD_POOL_HEADER
8) APC_INDEX_MISMATCH
Attempted Solutions:

-Reinstalled Windows
-Updated Drivers through Device Manager
-Ran a full scan with Kaspersky: No threats detected.
-Used Memtest86+....One test (I think #9) showed around two million errors. But I keep running over it again and it never showed those errors ever again..
Help!

A:Random BSOD (Lots)

Quote:
Used Memtest86+....One test (I think #9) showed around two million errors

If so, RAM is the problem. Check if it's set according to its rated specs, and then test per stick and per slot to locate the guilty one.

Hello, I purchased my cyberpowerpc from newegg.com back in June of 2013 and since I've received it I've had a number of BSOD issues including a hard crash that forced me to reload the OS from the partition, i'm at my whits end with it, I've recently ran a memory test with both Memtest86 and Memtest86+ and both came up with more errors then i can count... i haven't tried taking any memory sticks out because I've seen at least 6-8 variants to each BSOD error message and i'm not sure what can be wrong at this point... so here I am like many others i've seen on this forum hoping to find some answers...

Well, something must have changed since Windows updated, as I'm now getting very frequent BSOD's again. I once even got a BSOD, restarted and before the computer even started up, I got another BSOD...

Here's the requested data: JOSHDESKTOP-2016_07_14_(木)_173041_19.zip

Not sure what more to say, I am running the Windows 10 Preview Build 14379, but I don't think that's the cause.
Any idea of how to solve this problem? Thank you!

NOTE: Not entirely sure, but I believe there might be a BSOD log in there that was caused by me when I accidentally killed the system process svchost... Just ignore that I guess?

A:Lots of BSOD's Seemingly Without Cause

Please remove / disable items from the startup in taskmanager
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble and increase the boot time.

Alright, thanks for letting us know

Unfortunately the other BSOD that wasn't caused by accident was improper saved being it an invalid file size of 0KB.
This basically means that we cannot help as there is nothing to analyze.

Okay, to spell this all out, i am getting multiple BSOD errors. I have replaced my RAM and Hard Drive so i do not believe it is being cause by either of those. I would be playing World of Warcraft and i would get an error 132 memory could not be read or written to blah blah blah. My internet browsers would frequently crash also along with windows media player. I would attemp to reformat and reinstall windows on the new HD and i would get BSOD errors 0X00000019 BAD POOL HEADER and 0X000000D1 DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. I was palying wow and it crashed then got the BSOD error 0X00000004E PFN LIST CORRUPT. other BSOD errors include 0X000000050, 0X00000008E, 0X00000000A, 0X000000077, PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA, IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. These would all occour while doing normal computer things and trying to install XP SP2. I am going to upload some dump files when hte debugger is done downloading. Also when i try and upgrade to SP3, my computer would hang at the windows loading screen.

A:BSOD!! lots of malware!! please help

Hi there

The opening thread said i could post a reply if my post hadn't been answered in 48 hours.

I thought i'd use this chance to give more information about the problem:

So i may have downloaded malicious stuff from a dodgy streaming website. malwarebytes found some bad things and caused AVG to go a bit mental. I removed the threats using malwarebytes causing me to get message boxes on startup saying rundll32 couldnt be executed (which i then unticked in the startup list in msconfig). BSOD's still happen and my computer is generally a bit messed up.

I hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance,
James

A:BSOD during lots of HDD activity

Your crashes indicate data corruption and/or memory corruption. Hard disk problems, Windows corruption, viruses, or memory problems can cause these types of crashes. If you are overclocking any hardware, please stop.

Run Disk Check with both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors checked for all SSDs. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log.
For any drives that do not give the message:
Windows has checked the file system and found no problems
run disk check again as above. In other words, if it says:
Windows has made corrections to the file system
after running the disk check, run the disk check again.

Check Windows for corruption. Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker up to three times to fix all errors with a restart in between each. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations. Use OPTION THREE of SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker to provide us with the sfcdetails.txt file if errors occur.

Download and install Malwarebytes, update it, do not start the free trial, and then run a full scan. Also run a full scan with your antivirus software installed on your system. If you do not have antivirus software installed, see the Good and Free system security combination. for better security steps and scanning tools. Make sure to update the security software before running the full scan.

This is the 5th time i reinstall windows and hope to get a crash free computer, but to no success.
Changed harddrives to new ones but still same issue.

when i go to bed i turn off the power button on the PSU, and the first thing that happends when i use it again is i get a BSOD at windows desktop, it can be everything from ntfs.sys a number of various other files i dont remember, but are all in the minidump.
Then i turn it off with the power switch and it reboots, that usually fixes the PC for the first hours. Then many times in games i get BSOD from various types again.. its totally random, sometimes hours down to minutes and random games.. no pattern... -.-
i also use Driveragent to check if all drivers are up to date, and they are..

im clueless to what it can be so now i decided to get some help from people with the right knowledge.
I used a program called Whocrashed in attemt to find the source of it, but was kinda useless as it only said time and again
"Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system which cannot be identified at this time."

please help me, im tired of not being able to use my new computer..

Hi everyone, first time posting!

As you can see from the title of this thread, my computer is being very slightly problematic. Lots of BSOD errors over the last week. I've attached all the info necessary to look into this, hopefully. All my system info is in my profile, hopefully.

What I've done:

- RAM tests with MemTest86, 20+ hours and 10+ passes, all fine
- GPU tests with FurMark, all came back fine
- HD tests with SeaTools, all came back fine

I've also run Driver Verifier for a while, which should show in the dumps. It was coming back with some ASUS drivers, which I removed, but it's now coming back with dxgmms1.sys, win32k,sys and fltmgr.sys. The crashes occur most when watching YouTube on Chrome, or doing literally anything in Adobe Lightroom.

The errors I've received the last few days I've recorded:

1A x 8
3B x 6
0A x 4
50 x 4
1E x 3
C4 x 2
BE x 1
4E x 1

Any help would be hugely appreciated. I use this machine for work so it's quite important that it doesn't crash loads!

OK I have been building PC's from Newegg and various local store for my family members, friends and Co-Workers. I am not a Programmer or anything of that caliber but i built at least 20 PCs over the past year alone, mostly gamer rigs. But this one, which so happens to be mine, keeps giving me alot of issues.

I built it originaly about a month ago, and after a few days got some file corruption messages and BSODs. Running MEMTEST 86+ it narrowed out the ram pretty fast 100,000+ errors in like 10 minutes of starting. Various timings changed the error count but was by far from STABLE. I RMA'd the RAM to Gskill. Recieve that about a week ago.

I since did a clean install with Windows 7 64Bit.
Mainboard: ASUS M4A79XTD EVO
RAM: G-Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL 1600 MHz Ripjaw series. (2x2Gb)
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955BE
GPU: XFX GTX 260BE
PSU: 650 watt HEC-XpowerPRO

It passed a few hours of Memtest (3-4) so i began the fresh install. Everything worked fine for about a day.
Second Day I was playing Modern Warfare 2 game, and the game screen went Grey it rebooted after about minute or so and the CPU internal Speaker did the Pre-Post beeping to indicate no graphic card installed or what not.
I reset it manually with the front panel power switch and it boot fine. Windows report a Hardware failure, with the GPU. So i went and found a newer driver, i was using 195.6 or something and there was a 196.21 driver that just came out. I installed that.

So i went and found a newer driver, i was using 195.6 or something and there was a 196.21 driver th... Read more

You had been helping me previously related to getting a virus on my computer. After a lot of guidance, it eventually went into BSOD every time I try to start windows (no safe mode, nothing)

The last post that you had me do was to recreate another OTLPE bootable disk and run it in my HP Laptop.

I did that and here is what happened

Validated that it is booting from CD
Got message saying:
starting Reatogo-X-PE - Loads and then CD drive does lots of "reads"

Then gets a BSOD

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computers.

Technical Information:
*** Stop: 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0xF73B8D66, 0xF78D9EA4, 0xF78D9BA0)

*** acpi.sys - Address F73B8D66 base at F73AD000, Datestamp 41107b

I am not able to get to any accessable areas of the computer. Ran the BIOS Memory test and the hard disk self test, and both came up okay.

A:BSOD after lots of other problems

Your hard drive is not bootable any longer... It may be bad. The boot manager might be corrupt or missing from the hard drive. Can you restore the laptop to factory settings?

Hey,

I'm having a lot of blue screens of death on this computer, it's only about 2 months old and ever since I put it together it's had issues.

At first it was bluescreening every hour or so and I worked out that was because of a bios setting where I had to set the memory profile to XMP 1.3 from Automatic which raises the voltage as ASRock and Corsair suggested.

I now seem to be getting bluescreens while mainly downloading... I've re-installed windows several times trying my retail copy of windows that is heavily scratched and also a copy from the internet that is updated to October 2014 which is better for me because it doesn't have to have like 2GB of downloads which takes forever.

I've attached a copy of the health report and the output from Sysnative Collection App, I'm also currently running driver verifier but it hasn't crashed yet...

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate
Architecture: x64
Full Retail + Downloaded Retail
Age of Hardware: 2~ Months
Age of Operating System: 6~ hours

CPU: Intel Core i7 4930K
Video Card: AMD Radeon R9 270X
Motherboard: ASRock X79 Extreme6
Memory: Corsair 64GB (8x 8GB) PC2133
Power Supply: Corsair 750W RM Series

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi everyone, I've tried about everything I can think of and I finally decided to post to see if someone else could help. My computer has been having BSOD's pretty frequently (40+!!!! in less than a month) since I moved it to another room. It did the same thing before but hadn't crashed in a long time, so I thought I fixed it, then BOOM, started again, worse than ever. Usually it's a driver irql not less or equal error relating to nwifi.sys, but it's been pretty random too. I'm pretty sure it has to do with my wifi card, a Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter, but I've tried all the solutions I could find to fix it. I've got the most recent driver from Belkin's site and it's supposed to be compatible with Vista now, but 90% of the time it crashes, I'm on the internet using flash or attempting to access or transfer something over our home network. I use BlueScreenView to look at the crashes when I reboot, and here's an overview of what's happened recently:

-The last 16 crashed have been DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, usually referencing nwifi.sys, but once it was Wdf1000.sys.
-A cluster of 5 before that which didn't say anything in the actual BSOD, but show DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_IN_FREED_SPECIAL_POOL in BlueScreenView. I *think* these showed up when I started up my computer and it crashed right away a few times.
-The rest before that were pretty inconsistent, and happened at random times. These were before I found the correct driver update for the wifi card... Read more

So over the past few days i have been having alot of BSODs....
ranging from
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I have a Razer lycosa which is known to be troublesome.... and alot of the time i have crashed it has been because the keyboard has stopped working then i have to unplug and replug it to get it to work. Sometimes in this unplugging process the computer BSOD's. Most of my BSOD's in the past were from the keyboard but a few times recently i seem to just BSOD when playing a game randomly.

Any help is much appreciated as this machine is only about 3 weeks old and this is driving me insane if i need to attach anything else that will help please let me know as im clueless and new to this.

A:LOTS OF BSOD's gaming...

Most of your mini-dumps are pointing to the driver: Lycosa.sys which is the Razer Lycosa/Razer Tarantula Keyboard Driver. Sadly there is no Windows 8 64bit version until Feb 2013 (according to the site so please update then) but you can try un-installing and then re-installing the latest Windows 7 64bit version here (no guarantee of fixing the BSOD) if you have not done so already:

Razer Lycosa Driver v3.02

I have found a number of drivers you should update to the Windows 8 64bit versions or un-installing/removing if un-needed:

anodlwfx.sys - ALPHA Networks Filter Driver (2009): Driver Reference Table
VKbms.sys - HID mini driver for USB Fx2 Device (Razer driver) (2010): Driver Reference Table
k57nd60a.sys - Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet NDIS6.x Unified Driver (2011): Driver Reference Table
Darusb_win7x.sys - Driver for Atheros OTUS Network Adapter (2010): darusb_win7x.sys - What is darusb_win7x.sys ?

Please update anything you can to Windows 8 64bit versions from your manufacturers website. This should include your Broadcom Lan driver, ASMedia USB 3.0 driver, Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver, Intel Management Engine driver and anything else you feel should be updated:

ASRock > Z77 Extreme4

Please also make sure you have all of the Windows 8 updates until you can install no more.

-cheers

A:Lots Of BSOD at anytime

The SystemInfo file seems to be missing for some reason, either follow the instructions again or use this batch file I created:

Download and save Info.bat to the desktop.

Open a elevated command prompt and then type the following command:

Code:
cd C:\Users\<Username>\Desktop
then type:

Code:
Info.bat
The batch file will begin to run, the SystemInfo.txt file will be saved to your C:\ partition, and the MSINFO32 file will simply open, therefore click File and then Save. Chose the save location as your Desktop, and then copy the two files into a zipped folder.

Upload the zipped folder in your next post with - Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums

Ignore the MSINFO32 part.
