Canon MF4350d Laser Printer Paper Jam - can't locate the paper anywhere

Q: Canon MF4350d Laser Printer Paper Jam - can't locate the paper anywhere

I have a REALLY bad paper jam... My printer is MF4350d. The paper jam troubleshooting outlined in the manual did not help. When I opened up the toner area and the back end of the printer, I can't see see the paper at all. It looks like the paper is jammed in area that I don't know how to access to (if I can, aside from taking the whole printer apart).

Does anyone know any way to fix this problem? :/ The paper that got stuck was a label paper. I know for sure it is stuck because the paper did not come out at all. The WHOLE paper got stuck. The label paper half half label peeled off. I am assuming that the reason it might have curled up in the printer is due to the disappearance of that half label? :/

The label paper is a regular size paper with 2 labels divided evenly on the paper.

Is taking the printer apart the only way? (is that even safe/good to do on my own part?)

Please help thank you very much.

Reading up on it, I found that this printer has an auto-duplex feature, which lead me to the question:

How damp is the paper going to be after printing duplex, especially if I print with 50% - 100% coverage?

My initial conjecture is that it wouldn't be wet or curled, as it would be counterproductive to Epson's image to provide a printer with an auto-duplex feature that would drench the paper.

After doing a little bit of research, it seems that it's largely going to depend on the ink itself. According to macworld.com, "pigment inks...are made up of tiny, encapsulated particles that sit on top of the paper, instead of being absorbed into a paper’s fibers, which is what happens with dyes." The article further goes on to state that pigment inks are primarily for the purpose of longevity. Well, I'm not particularly concerned about it's longevity but I am interested in whether it's ability to dry faster than dye ink is justifiable for an investment in pigment inks?

A little more research revealed that paper quality is also a major factor (duh). Only issue is, I've already purchased a bunch of cheap 20 lb, 96 bright white paper and don't want to purchase paper separately for this additional printer (when I mean "bunch", I mean that I possess cases of paper in the double digits). Another reason I'm hesitant to make any move towards better paper is that it seems that the higher quality paper is designed to ... Read more

How can the back of the printer be removed to find a paper jam on a Canon Printer MP560.
Nothing showing underneath ......must be in the inside rollers.

A:Paper Jam Canon Printer MP560

See if this helps:

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/suppo...pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp560#ServiceAndSupport

On that page, part way down, do a search for "paper Jam." That will take you to a new page with search results to choose from. Note: Give it a few moments to show the search results.

From the Search results select the 4th one down "Paper Is Jammed Inside Printer"

That should take you to a graphic.

Hope this helps!

Canon could certainly do a bit of work to improve their website. I was unable to create a direct link to the Graphic page.

I think this is similar to the thread
HP 2575 Printer Paper Jam Error w/no paper jam
I was trying to print 2 sheets double sided (manually).
Side 1 printed, I reoriented the sheet, pressed OK, then the paper jammed.
I removed the jammed paper, which tore during removal
I tried to reprint the two sheets, and printed side one, then got a papre jam message before the reoriented paper was taken up!
I have tried powering off and disconnecting the printer, and now have a "permanent" paper jam message.
Can anyone tell me where the sensors are on this model? I suspect "chad" (yes, I really am old enough to know the problems chad can cause).
Unfortunately, I'm also partially sighted, so I need pretty clear instructions on where to look forthe chad.
Can anyone help please?

I have checked and there is no paper jammed in the printer yet I cannot get rid of the error message. Any ideas?

Greetings -

I have a Canon Pixima IP3000 Printer - It will print 8x11 fine and jam.

I was printing 3x5 cards with no issue and now it will constantly jam -

Pressing the continue buttons shoots out the paper - so it is not getting hung up on anything. Just not printing correctly -

Anyone else see this issue. Any thing I need to clean or check with.

Hello all my printer was working fine until recently. When I try to make it print it pulls down the paper a couple inches, slightly crooked and tells me paper is jammed. I put it in perfectly straight it's the pull that is causing this. After this happens I can pull out and put back in the 1 sheet of paper the couple inches that it went in. I am not afraid to take this thing apart if I need to I just want to fix it and need to know what to do. Thanks.

Hi, I'm new here. I joined after searching for my problem and finding that some others had had the same problem but that it was either solved or retired.

I'm on a MacBook running the latest version of Snow Leopard, and I can't print to my four-year-old Canon printer (an MP530) because it says I have a paper jam. The error code it gives is 1300. I've searched everywhere in the printer and opened every door I can possibly find, and I haven't found any paper jammed anywhere - or anything else, either. I'm about ready to dump the printer, but perhaps someone here can help me fix this mystery jam.

When I go to print something, the paper feeds in crooked on the left side, and then I get the jam error. I've felt around in the bottom of the paper feed and I can't find any problem or jammed paper there either. I'm using the paper loader on the back of the printer, not the sheet feeder or anything, and I'm using regular cheap office printer paper.

I read on fixyourownprinter.com about checking the purge unit. Is that something I should try?

Thank you for any help you can give me!

I have a Canon Pixma MG6100. I tried to print on glossy paper and the printer kept jamming. I gave up on printing the photo, but now the printer jams even when trying to print on plain paper from both the back tray and the cassette. Fromboth places, the paper starts to feed but then stops. I can hear the rollers still moving, but the paper is just stuck. I have tried cleaning the rollers as well as cleaning the bottom plate but nothing works. The printer is now useless.

The first thing to do when this happens is unpolug and replug the machine, then clean all the rollers. Your manual should have the instructions for that in it. If you don't have the manual it should be available online at www.canonusa.com

These printers usually have a reset that involves holding down the power button. I'm pressed for time atm so try googling for that. Those might help if you've already followed the above steps

I keep getting a "out of paper" error when I try to use the printer. It tells me to load paper into the tray and press the reset button. There is plenty of paper in the tray. I have looked at the paper tray holder while requesting it to print and it looks like the paper is never lifted up to meet the roller, almost like nothing happens. Hi All,

My Canon MP530 printer has 2 paper sources; a flat 'cassette' in the base and a near-vertical sheet feeder at the back. There is a button on the front of the printer which allows you to specify where you'd like the printer to take paper from.

When I put 6"x4" photo paper in the cassette, and press the button to specify the cassette, it jumps to the sheet feeder and prints on A4 from there instead. Removing the A4 from the sheet feeder in an attempt to force the printer to use whatever is in the cassette has no effect - it tells me the sheet feeder is out of paper. If I put A4 in the cassette it detects it and prints just fine.

I have been to the printer driver and made sure that the cassette is selected under 'paper source', but this has not helped.

I am using the "Easy Photoprint" software and this allows you to specify your paper size, type etc. I am guessing that this is not a paper pick-up issue (the printer has seen too little use to have coated the pickup wheels, and it picks up A4 ok). I think it is having difficulty detecting the smaller paper size although it used to print 6x4 before without problems.

Anybody know how to fix this? What is the mechanism by which paper is detected, and how might it have failed?

Any assistance gratefully rceived.

My Pixma MP 760 recently needed new ink. I replaced the cartridges, did the basic service options, printed successfully and shut it down. When I next turned the printer on, I had an error message that stated" Rear Cover The paper is jammed. Clear the paper andpress OK".

I checked and there was a piece of paper in the rollers, and Igently removed it. It was not torn.

However, when I pressed "OK" themachine whirred while a different screen message "Wait for a while" appeared. But the original error message reappeared.

I doubled checked the entire machine, tried the "menu/ scan/copy/scan" and cleared the servicememory, to no avail.

I have tried unplugging it, waiting and restarted but all I get is the same error message and there is no paper jam. Called Canon and they were unable to help and the closest service depot is 600+ miles away..not an option.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

There is a paper sensor switch, usually attached to a small lever, that may be broken. Remove the paper and peer down the slot to see if the sensor switch lever is there. If it is, then the switch itself may be defective.

Go to Start, Settings, Printer, right click on the Deskjet 970 and Click on Properties. Click on the "Setup Tab" then click on the arrow next to "Paper Size". Go to the bottom and click on "User Defined Paper Size". A window will pop-up where you can then type in the paper size you want to print too, click "OK" then "Apply" and it should print that size.

Hello all,

I have access to a Xerox Phaser 8200 color laser printer and I was trying to find a solution to my printing needs. I need to print a large amount of pictures with this printer and the solution that Xerox has, is for a specific photo paper that is almost a dollar a page ($23.99 for 25 sheets). I need to make about 400 prints and this is TOO much money.

Does anyone know of another paper that can be substituted besides Professional Solid Ink High-Resolution Photo Paper, part #016-1808-00, for the price stated above. They also have another paper, Phaser Glossy Coated Paper, part #016-1936-00 costing $22.99 for 100 sheets. This is a little better but still quite expensive plus its 100lb cardstock.

Can someone please give me a little assistance with this as I am stumped....

A:Solved: Printer Paper questions...

Well it looks like you are using a standard wax printer that used be be made by Tektronix before Xerox bought them out. When we had a printer like that we used to use standard recycled copier paper. If I were you I would go to an office supply shop and pickup a few different types to try. Dont get anything too heavy weight or it will jam in the printer. The real expense of these isn't the paper but the color sticks.

Am experiencing repeated bad paper feeds on this printer. It developed slowly. As I look at the printer, when I request print the paper initially ***** to the right and often pulls in crooked, slanting top right. Frequently, this causes a paper jam and stops the printing command until the paper is cleared. The printer performs well under most circumstances but has slowly developed this mis-feed problem.

How can I clear up this mis-feed and get the printer to pull the paper in evenly?

Printer is a Dell Photo All-In-One Printer 922

A:Paper Mal-feed, Dell 922 Printer

The most likely cause of the mis-feed is either something blocking the paper, or something on the rollers that make the paper "slip". Try cleaning the rollers to make sure there isn't any dust or bits of paper on them, or other things in the paper path that could cause it to jam up.

The Dell support site has a manual for the printer (http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/PRN922/en/index.htm). Although a quick look through it did not show how to clean the rollers, the User Guide should have something that would help.

No error messages in the software or on the all-in-one itself, and the Lexmark site had very little tech solutions for this printer, not the one we were looking for. As best can determine, it appears the rollers are not feeding the paper, and no paper is jammed as far can see inside the machine, but see no way to really open the all-in-one printer/copier fully to see what is going on. I have an old HP4P printer that still was working fine until recently. I printer the first page (from the tray) of a 4 page document. I got a paper jam on the second page and have not been able to get the printer to work without jamming since. The paper gets picked up and moves only about an inch or less on the roller and then I get a jam message. It appears as if the paper is not being moved straight (?). I also noted that now I can't use the single page feed above the tray door. When you push in a sheet it should grab the paper and then print. I can not get it to grab the sheet anymore.

Is there anything I can do to get this working again?

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows Vista. I have also been successfully using an HP Photosmart B209a "all in one" printer with a wireless connection. I began getting low ink messages, so installed new HP cartridges. When I try to align the new cartridges, I get a message that says the alignment failed, but I can still use the printer. However, when I try to print any document I have generated on my computer, the printer picks up the paper and goes through the machinations of printing, but when it spits out the paper, it is blank. When I print a test page, it works. When I print a page from a website, it works. It will copy a document. It simply won't print anything I generate using my word processor or spreadsheet (I use Microsoft Works).

HP's Monitor program says that the computer is ready.

I have used HP Solutions Center, but nothing it suggests has made any difference. I have checked my wireless connection and it is working, obviously, or the printer wouldn't be getting the message to print, as it surely is, since it starts, picks up the paper and goes through the whole process of printing. However, nothing comes out except a blank piece of paper.

Hope you can help.

My printer (HP 840) got some problems to take the paper sheets placed on the tray. I must push them forward for the printer to "catch" them and start the printing. If I don't do this, I got an error message saying I must put some paper to start the printing. Does anyone know what I can do?

I've been learning Publisher2000, and can get something set up, a card, or newsletter, etc. (for practice) but when I try to print it, it doesn't come out right.

For example, I set up a folded card, with looks like it prints on one piece of paper, and is folded to make the card. Since it's on one piece of paper, I left my printer on letter size. It printed 4 pieces of paper (one for each of the 4 sides)

I never got to try this with my old printer, which was a lot simplier, and I think would have printed whatever the computer set up (at least it did with everything else). My current printer is a Lexmark X5150. All in one. It has a lot of settings, besides the print/size setup in Publisher.

I think I'm doing the Publisher programs correctly, and the printer isn't set right, so messes it up.

I tried printing pictures on notecards (5 1/2 X 8 1/2 UNfolded) and no matter what I set the printer on, the pictures would come out huge or off center. I finally found a way to print them, using PSP- setting the paper size (in PSP and the printer) as "statement", and putting the picture on the top of the page (upside down)- in the print set up for "print multiple copies". Because you can drag the picture onto the paper and set it up the way you want this way. I'm sure this isn't the best (and correct) way to print a notecard but it's the only way I could figure out that works.

It would be nice if I could disable the printer s... Read more

Hi
I have a set of PCs, each connected to a label printer via USB.  I need to set them all to have a non-standard default paper size (7.2cm x 3.7cm rather than the standard the driver gives me) for all users.

The users aren't using Office, so amending the standard normal.dot won't help them - they each pick up the paper size from the device in 'devices and printers'.  There are a lot of pcs, and a lot of users, so even though it sticks for each user on each
machine, they hotdesk, so could be at any machine.
I've hunted the registry, but can't find a default paper size in anything obvious.
Thanks

A:How to set default paper size on printer for all users

1. I would address printer vendor support with this problem.
2. Make sure that program that users are printing from support target size.
Both seems to be beyong the default settings.

Does anyone out there make paper for these printes that aren't perforated? It's driving him up a wall and he claimes his friend would be annoied by the edges, especally since these pics will go into albums more then into frames.

Every time I try to print anything, my WF-2530 feeds a sheet through and reports paper out. The unit has seen little use and has never had a paper jam. I have carefully loaded only a few sheets of regular 20 lb paper and it does it every time. I have done the same with some Kodak photo paper for inkjet and gotten the same results. It simply does not detect that there is paper loaded.

I have tried resetting the unit, powering off then on, disconnecting and reconnecting the power cord. Nothing causes it to recognize that paper is loaded after it feeds the first sheet through. Press the 'OK' button and it will feed another sheet and continue to report 'paper out'.

I don't want to replace such a lightly used printer. If I can correct whatever is wrong with the paper sensor it would be a blessing. Help!

And i dont really want it to. Telling it to print a standard word document (black type, not white ) onto white paper. All looks good except for no ink actually being put onto paper.

Printer running latest drivers. Worked fine last time i used it (few months ago). Lexmark X85, with scanner built in. Cheap printer but used to work. Windows XP.

Any guesses? Printer claims to have a plenty of ink left, but i dont know how to verify that.

Thanks in advance

I relize that this is a hardware problem, and I will also post it under hardware as well. I thought that someone in this catagory might have encountered this problem as well. Here goes, I purchased this printer about 2 years ago, so of course it is out of waranty! I have contacted Epson and got blah blah, the same obvious thing that is in the manual. Here finally, is my problem. the printer started kicking out a blank page between printed pages every so often, then it started kicking out 2 blank pages and stoping with the maintenence light on. I would check the paper and find nothing wrong, I would push the maintenence button and the printing would proceed. Now I have reached the point where a printed page is the exception and a paper jam is the norm. there is no paper jam! just the light coming on. what I see happening is that the paper as it starts to feed, stops just short of where the printer head would start to print. I have checked the rollers and cleaned them to no avail. I know I can go buy a new printer, but it just frost's me to have to replace a printer thats less then 2 years old! Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time! Rick

My subject paper recently started acting weird.
When I try to load continuous paper and press load button, it retracts the paper.
It did happen previously and I used some compressed air to clean the printer and
everything worked fine. I believe there is a photocell somewhere in the printer,
which is supposed to sense the paper. I do not know where it is and also I do not
know why it is not working as it should.
Does any one have ideas about what to do except to trash the printer.

Best regards,

Hi, folks. I've recently become (among other things, it's a jill-of-all-trades sort of job) the tech support for a small company running Vista Home Premium. I used to be fine with 3.1, but my experience with XP and 98 was mostly corporate networks where I was lucky to be allowed to install Firefox without going through the IT department, and I'm a Mac person by choice. Until 2 weeks ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of touching Vista with the proverbial pole, so please keep that in mind when you reply -- this is the first time I've had admin powers on a Windows machine since the 90s!

Today's most urgent problem is a printer mishap. We have two computers connected to the same HP OfficeJet 6210 printer. The printer is fine, and it's making copies and receiving faxes just as it should; the printer itself doesn't show any error messages. However, both of our computers are insisting that they can't print because there's a paper jam. They spool files into the queue and then they just sit there. I've tried canceling all the spooled documents and starting over, we've turned the printer on and off and been over it multiple times, and we can't find a paper jam anywhere except in the network's imagination. Any idea what to try next?

I have an HP Deskjet D1430 and a Macbook OS X, I'm not sure what version, but it runs Tiger so it's older. I have a full tri-color cartridge in the printer, and whenever I try to print something, the printer will go through all the motions but the paper will come out blank. The cartridge is brand new and the protective tape is off. For a while my printer was telling me there was pen failure, but now it just doesn't print but it isn't saying there's anything wrong. Please help!

A:Printer Prints Blank Paper/Pen Failure

It sounds like your printer's printhead is blocked up with dried ink. The printhead is the moving assembly into which you clip the ink cartridges. Because the blockage is inside the printhead, fitting a new cartridge doesn't solve the problem.

Your printer driver software will have a nozzle-cleaning utility which you can try, but where the blockage is severe (as it seems to be in your case if no ink at all is getting through) even that will probably not be able to shift the blockage, so more extreme measures are required.

Suggestions here may help: http://www.out-of-warranty.com/ink-system-failure-error-0xc18a-hp/

Or remove the cartridges and put a few drops of alcohol-based solvent into the small hole under where each cartridge sits in the printhead. Leave overnight, then next day put the cartridges back and repeatedly keep trying to print something in colour until the inks start coming through.

Note1: Do not use petroleum-based solvents as they will damage the plastic parts!

Note 2: Put the cartridges into a sealed plastic bag while they are removed, to stop the ink drying up.

Hey

I bought a Brother MFC 230-C printer for my home specifically because advertisements said it accepted more than just plain paper. But if I load up such things as t-shirt transfer paper (which is the same weight as regular paper), the printer refuses to take it. Instead, it takes a tiny bit, says it is jammed, and that's it. The paper doesn't jam, I can take it out without any problem, but do have to "pretend" there's a jam by opening the back cover or top cover (thus resetting the printer). I've printed less than 20 sheets of plain paper on this thing.

Is there anything I can do to the printer or the paper to ensure these kinds of specialty papers will go through?

Hello all,

The RX620 is the ONLY printer scanner that I know of that can scan large, clear images from 35mm slides. I NEED NED NEED that; which is why I searched high and low to get this printer.
***OK***
I just set up this RX620 (as/per instructions: NOT hooked to computer yet). Therefor the fact that I have a brand new iMac ... 3.06 GHz Intel Core Pro Duo ... OSX 10.6.4 has nothing to do with my problem. I am asked to supply that info here though.

IMMEDIATELY, upon turning on printer and running (as/per instructions) some paper through, it began grabbing and mis-feeding paper (1 sheet at a time from my 4 0r 5 sheets in the tray). It pulled paper at an angle, sending it through crumpled. MIS-FEED.

I cleared that, checked tray and paper situation - all looked good. tried again; same results.
NOW (after 4 or 5 more attempts ...w/ and w/out the COLOR button trick ...and then the B&W + STOP buttons RESET trick, I get: BAD SQUEAL NOISE at start and "Printer Error occurred - Please see documentation" in window of printer. NOTHING in documentation addresses a fix for this. NOTHING I can think to do gets me beyond this point.

btw:
*Yes, ink cartridges correctly inserted, moved back in correct position; unit completely closed. NO paper or pieces of paper remain inside printer feed area.etc. etc.

Hi fellow members,

I'm facing a problem about my printer under Windows 8.1. I cannot create custom paper size.

My previous printer is a HP P2035 printer. According to HP, the driver is built into Windows 8.1 and thus does not offer any driver for w8.1. The printer is detected correctly and I'm able to print, except I cannot create a custom paper size.

I raised this issue on the HP forum and a couple of members explained that the printer is pretty old and thus there is no incentive for Microsoft nor HP to develop a driver for Windows 8.1

Then I change to Fuji Xerox DocuPrint p355db. Again this printer is able to print just fine by Windows 8.1 built in driver, except the driver just won't allow me to create a custom paper size!

Help please.

The printer is an Epson C-80. It does not do this all the time. But I do have this problem intermittently. It usually goes away by itself. Today I'm doing something that I really want to look presentable.

It does the printing itself fine. But when it's finished printing, instead of ejecting the paper onto the tray, it hesitates, pulls the paper partway back into the printer, then ejects it. This results in the bottom 1" of the paper being crumpled and twisted and naturally looks awful. Sometimes there are also ink smears.

Usually I have to exert a little force to tug it out, as if it's caught on something.

I test-printed other documents. Short ones (one or two paragraphs) printed fine, did not get yanked back in. Documents that took up the full page were ALL pulled back into the printer, and ejected with the bottoms all crumpled.

That usually happens when no paper is detected in the tray you selected, the printer will then automatically switch to the tray where paper is detected.

I have an HP Photosmart C3100 All-in-One. When I try to print something, it doesn't even attempt to pull in any paper. Then I can hear the ink cartridges moving back and forth for moment -- they start out moving fine, but over the course of about 5 seconds, they slowly grind to a halt and I get an error msg. The Check Paper light and the Color light (as in, where u choose between color or black-and-white copies) flash. I thought the Color light might indicate some kind of problem w/ the color print cartridge and I had an extra, so I threw that in but it didn't make any difference. I also noticed a lot of ink that was sprayed inside the printer, presumably becuz the paper wasn't there to catch it.

So is this just a paper feed issue? Would a problem w/ the paper feed cause the ink cartridges to move the way I described? I found a kit to repair the paper feed: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...ry&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3752456

When we were using Office 2003, i was able to specify paper size for the document i wanted to print in printer's properties, however, since updated to Office 2007 i can't. Actually, i can specify the paper size by choosing custom print then edit the size i want to print but as soon as i click okay button and reopen printer properties i can see paper size did not change. I have already changed the paper size in page set up by the way.
I checked the our printer's properties and it shows under security tab for everyone can "print" section clicked. But "Managed Printer" not clicked. Only power users and administrators have that privilege.
so my question is: the reason i can't specify paper size in the printer properties because i am not a power user and don't have administrator privilege?

After I did that Norton virus protection told me that it noted that something had changed in my partitioning and that it may be cause by either a virus or by me installing windows. I chose to ignore this problem. No virus was found. Several weeks ago I did have a warning of a worm virus which Norton Quaranteened. Secondly, the printer says there is a paper type/size mismatch. After changing the printer (and the computer) settings to the correct ones, the printer still says its mismatched. And the confusing thing is if you select FormFeed manually on the printer,
the documents that are waiting will print anyways, even though it says it cant and even though the computers say its offline.

How can I reset the system so the documents will print automatically upon command via the two computers?

A:Paper jam

I assume you mean how do you reset the printer after the physical paper jam has been cleared. If that is the case, there should be a Stop/Reset button on the main controls, if so, press it. I have a different model PIXMA, so you might not have that button; if you don't, turn it off, wait about a minute (really wait a minute or it will not fully reset), then turn it back on. That should do it, if not, post back and I'll try to help you clear out the error state.

The easiest way for me to ask what I want is to show it by example. Let’s first select FILE -> PAGE SETUP. When the PAGE SETUP window comes up, select the PAGE tab. After you select “USE SPECIFIC PRINTER” the form automatically repopulates the SIZE and SOURCE combo boxes for that specific printer. I don’t care about the SIZE combo box, but how do you know what to put into the SOURCE combo box? This is AcPrintPaperBin, right? Finally, when you click on the OK command button, what are the VB commands that execute? Thanks -Ken.

Hi guys,
Together with 4 students we've to write a paper about Operating Systems (not about how they look like, but about their function between the OS and the hardware (the technical part)). We're all very excited and we were hoping if you got any tips for us (it
could be a good encyclopedia, website or something else).
Thanks in advance!

I have an epson 777 printer that isn't operating properly. A few months ago my daughter was printing out a paper when there was a paper jam. instead of pulling the paper through the printer she paniced and tried to pull the paper out from the back side of the printer. Every since then when I try to print it gives me an error that says that the paper isn't loaded correctly. After pusing the maintanance button it gives me the same error. Can I do any thing to correct the problem? Or will I have to buy a new printer?

A:epson 777 paper jam

Hi there
Try taking out all of the paper out from the feed tray and opening up its lid, just like when you're changing cartriges and look around inside. Most likely there is a piece of paper stuck in between rollers inside. If you do find paper stuck inside, try pulling gently on it from the front. If you cant grasp it, you can use pair of tweezers or something but make sure not to jam it into anything...

Good luck, hope this helps...

D.

Hey guys. I found a program called window paper xp that makes the desktop.ini file for you that changes the background image of a folder..

The annoying thing is the image is displayed in it resolution so if you make the folder smaller the whole thing wont show or if you make it too big the image will be tiled..

Do any of you know of any way to make it so the picture adjusts to the folder size?

I have a Canon Multipass F20 and Windows Xp SP2
everything has been working just fine until today when my printer refuses to feed the paper. I do not see any thing unusual. It just grabs the paper and twists in on one side and jams up.
I have turned it off and on again
I have restarted my computer
I have tried one piece of paper at a time while watching it
I have tried 50 sheets in the tray.
All with the same result.
I don't know where to find the Canon Multipass printer test "module". I know it exists, because I used it when I first got the printer, but it has never been a problem until now and I can't find it. I don't know that it would help because as I recall it was all about color and density but .......
Any suggestions?

A:Paper will not feed

Could it be you've got something blocking the feed mechanism? Clean your printer and check for anything foreign.
